I’m good at making friends with new cats whether they are shy or gregarious. I believe respecting boundaries is most important. I am happy to check in multiple times throughout the day for long periods to give your kitty the socialization they need or even stay overnight. As well as provide regular pictures updates, so that you have peace of mind about the creature you love dearly.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have cat sat, on and off for 5 years. As a student, cat sitting works with my schedule and I’ve often cat sat for other students who can’t always afford a professional sitter. I have cared for cats with a variety of need levels, from just the basics to daily topical medications and eating problems. I can follow complex feeding protocols for multiple cats, maintain clean eating and litter spaces, and administer some medications. I like to ‘chat’ with cats and get to know their individual quirks and personalities.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a cat named Lazarus with my partner who lives in a neighboring state. He was a street cat who came to our door on Halloween and I couldn’t help but give him a treat. It’s very difficult to be away from him while I’m pursuing my studies so I enjoy getting to be around other people’s cats.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I always like to meet with the person and the cat in person so I can get a sense of how the cat behaves when they’re comfortable and see how they interact. If you already have a document which outlines how your cat should be cared for and emergency plans I like to go over that, or we can draft one together. (I always like to have things written down.)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
