My cat adventure began when I was around 12 years old feeding and befriending a few neighborhood cats. Though I couldn’t convince my mom to let me keep any of them, my feline fanaticism only grew over time. It wasn’t until about 10 years later when I got my first two cats, a rambunctious tabby named Bentley, with the energy and voice of a lion, and his brother Elvish, a cuddly black cat who could only chirp... My cat adventure began when I was around 12 years old feeding and befriending a few neighborhood cats. Though I couldn’t convince my mom to let me keep any of them, my feline fanaticism only grew over time. It wasn’t until about 10 years later when I got my first two cats, a rambunctious tabby named Bentley, with the energy and voice of a lion, and his brother Elvish, a cuddly black cat who could only chirp. With them I learned quite a lot about handling different personalities and interaction methods as the only thing they had in common was enjoyment of treats. With years of medical appointments and two cross-country moves, I’ve mastered the arts of administering oral medicine, sub-q fluids, and placing even the most evasive cats into carriers.

After the sudden loss of Elvish in spring of 2021, I’ve recently adopted a tortie named Ember, with just the right amount of tortitude and successfully introduced her to Bentley. I’ve since moved to the Colorado Springs area and am looking forward to continue meeting and befriending as many more cats as I can.

Hector did a fantastic job cat sitting for us. He came over a couple of days ahead of our reservation to meet out kitty and go over her schedule. I could tell he was listening to what I was saying, and he took notes as well. While we were gone, he sent very detailed messages about our kitty and what he did each visit, along with photos and video--which were much appreciated! It can be stressful being away from home and wondering if your pet is okay, but our minds were at ease with Hector cat sitting because he was so conscientious and caring. He even put food out for the stray we feed! :-) We will definitely use Hector again.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
