Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a beautiful calico cat named Esmeralda… “Esme” for short. She is a sassy little princess with all the love in the world. I love how she sits with me when I do yoga and waits for me in the window when I come home for the day. She is big on belly scratches and long snuggly naps. She was 4 years old when I adopted her from the shelter and will be turning 9 in May!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

For each new client, I want to know their exact routine with their kitty so that I can understand how to best replicate it. That way, your cat has the least amount of resistance to your disappearance in the home. This includes feeding schedules, medical requirements, playtime, where and how they like to be pet, best ways to show them affection, etc. This also goes for the cat parent… if you want three photos a day rather than one, just let me know! Take your cats for walks? You got it! In addition, I think it’s important to do a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure the connection goes all three ways (with me, you and your kitty).

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

My older cat Aspen was a shelter kitty. He was terrified when we brought him home. With much patience and a gentle touch, he finally started to come out from under the bed and blossom into the sweetest boy. I find that timid cats really just need some time to adjust to your energy. It can make all the difference just to sit with them and let them learn your smell, movements, and the sound of your voice. Of course a trail of treats never hurts either.

Georgia did a great job with our girls! There were meds and feeding schedules involved with our older kitty and she had no problem with any of it. We felt confident and safe with her taking care of our kitties and have already booked her again. Highly recommend!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
