I am sad to be leaving this review due to all the other positive one, but I cannot recommend Fern. Communication was incredibly difficult (several unanswered messages and responses were typically short) and we found out Fern did not check on our cat one of our reserved days. This was only after contacting her multiple times asking for an update. I did meet Fern and told her to contact me if anything came up while we were out of town multiple times, we would have completely understood if she needed to reschedule. I will be contacting Meowtel for a refund because Fern did not amend the reservation for the days she was not able to come. To be honest I spent a lot of my Thanksgiving worrying about my cat being taken care of.

Fern was a great cat sitter over the holidays - always made time to play with my cat and send updates, which were very appreciated as I was missing my girl a lot. I would highly recommend hiring Fern :)

Fern went above and beyond: 1. we developed an ant problem while Fern was caring for our cats, and Fern took care of it. 2. our terribly temperamental front door stole Fern's key, and the locksmith broke off the key in the lock. through all of this, Fern remained calm and communicative. Fern had to have displayed a good bit of self-sufficiency, because we were out of cell service for a large chunk of our 9 day camping trip. 3. Fern absoluteleft our house in pristine shape, and our house smelled lovely when we returned (the strongest evidence of daily litterbox cleanings: i have a sensitive nose). i will not only hire Fern again (if they will have us, omg) but will recommend Meowtel as a setvice to all of my friends.

Fern was awesome and took great care of our cat while we were traveling. She sent me photos every visit and was very responsive. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be happier with the care Fern provided for our fur-babies, Ashoka and Aurelian. Aurelian, who needs lots of playtime, was kept happy and engaged, while Ashoka, who has a sensitive tummy, was cared for with such kindness. Fern went above and beyond, cleaning up any messes without hesitation and making sure both cats felt comfortable and loved. She was thoughtful, responsive to our specific needs, and truly dedicated to their well-being. Highly recommend!

Fern was amazing! She was willing to meet before the reservation to go over my cats caretaking needs and instructions, and she followed them to a “T.” I’m beyond grateful I didn’t have to stress and worry about my cats during my trip. Moreover, Fern routinely sent me photos and videos of my cats and it seemed they really grew to like and trust her. Lastly, one of my cats suffers from tear drainage on her eyes, and Fern kept them clean each day, which was such a relief! I would and will be booking her again very soon. She’ll treat your cats like they’re her own, she responsive and responsible, and reliable! Thank you for everything Fern!

Fern was great, could tell at the meet and greet she speaks the language of cats! She was accepted by the crew, and a great communicator. Would definitely have her take care of our kittties again!

Fern was communicative and friendly, and very easy to work with. We feel our cat Luca was very well-cared for throughout our vacation and that’s all due to Fern. We will absolutely book with Fern again.

Fern was absolutely amazing! She stepped in last minute during a really tough time when we had put our eldest cat down and still had a wedding to attend. She made sure that our other cats were taken care of during a time of change, to send us pictures and reassure us. She was endlessly flexible and went out of her way to accommodate us. this is my second time with Fern being our "cat-taker". Fern, as always, keeps my cats healthy & happy, the boxes clean, and the house in order. i wouldn't use anyone else.

Fern is wonderful. We are very pleased with her care. Our kitty was surely pleased too with her. Evidence for this is that she (kitty) was super sweet when we returned. From prior experiences this tells us (along with Fern’s continuous updates) that she was fine, happy with Fern and felt at ease with her. We will certainly call on Fern again to care for our little fur ball.
