My name is Cat! If you’re looking for a passionate animal lover to take care of your pets while you are away, then look no further! Animals have been my passion for as long as I’ve been alive! I have owned cats since I was a kid and I have years of experience pet sitting, as well as veterinary experience in my job as a veterinary assistant. I am able to administer a wide variety of medications and help with any medical needs. I am here to help make sure your cat has every need met, and has alot of fun!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have had my cats for over 8 years. They are the best part of every day. I am familiar with specialized diets, medication administration and special behavioral needs. Each of my cats has a special need that requires specialized care. I also have worked at a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant for the past 4 years, giving me experience in medical care and pet first aid. With my combined professional and personal experience, you can be confident that your pets are in the best hands.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three fur babies: Blu Cool Ranch Doritos, Nacho Cheese Doritos, and Blackbird. All were adopted as rescues. They each have their own special personalities. Blu is an unbothered old man who can never turn down a treat. Blackbird is a shy princess who loves to snuggle. Nacho is a hyper kiddo who fits the orange stereotype.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Nacho was human raised from birth, so he’s a bit anxious, especially when I leave for a trip. To help him and other anxious cats, I always make sure to leave plenty of toys around to help convert the anxiety into playtime. From catnip, robot toys, and cat TV, sometimes a distraction is the best way for anxious kitties to pass the time. Enriching activities every day are essential. Blackbird was a feral stray when I first met her. The key to helping a shy cat get comfortable with new places or people is to earn their trust. Whether it is sharing a treat, finding a game, or quietly sitting in the same space, trust is earned by taking it slow and at the kitties own pace.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
