I understand that visitors can be scary to some kitties. I will sit on the floor and wait for your kitty to be comfortable, comfort them with slow moves and soft conversation, toys and treats(when approved)... My cats think I would be the purrfect sitter! I have lots of experience with kitties having never been with out one my entire life. I have worked with animal rescues for about five years, the last 3 years had been primarily cats. I have fostered in my home and have also helped save many other animals with in/out of state transfers. The transformation of a rescued kitty is amazing! The transformation from scared and sick to happy and healthy keeps me going and knowing the more animals I help find homes, more can be saved. Currently, I own three kitties who are good ambassadors when I am fostering or have animals visiting.
I understand that visitors can be scary to some kitties. I will sit on the floor and wait for your kitty to be comfortable, comfort them with slow moves and soft conversation, toys and treats(when approved).
I often bring a variety of toys with me on visits to entice playtime and help me socialize with your kits.
My hobbies include cats, coffee and crafts. I am also a before and after junkie for home makeovers and love to decorate and organize.
My service area would ideally be the southwest metro market (Littleton, Ken Caryl, Lakewood, some of Morrison, Roxborough, Southwest Denver) though would consider an extended area. While caring for your fur baby/ies I will send texts with daily updates and pictures. Aside from giving your kitties lots of cuddles and attention, I will feed accordingly, scoop the litter box with each visit, vacuum litter area when needed and happy to water plants and take the trash out.
If at any time you do not see your dates available, please reach out. My plans may have changed or maybe I had just not opened that month just yet and we can reassess the availability.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
My experience with cat sitting has been learned my whole life as I have never been with out a cat, currently I have three cats. I also have learned a lot from fostering all ages and any health condition.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is making a connection with all animals, help Ease their worries until the owners return home.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
A favorite cat sitting reservation is hard to answer 🤔 Every kitty has their own personalities and each are special in their own way. I have Maine Coons who are huge, there are shy kitties, playful kitties…I love all kittie visits because they are all so different from snuggling to playful and the challenging mission of the shy 😺😼😾😻😽
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three kitties; Ebony, Ivory and a Foster fail Tulip. Ebony and Ivory were rescued in hurricane Harvey, Ebony is solid black, and Ivory was born white and later changed to Siamese. Tulip came in a transport as a foster at only half a pounds and at least 10 weeks old, very malnourished she couldn’t even stand on her own. Tulip arrived in the spring right when the tulips were budding from the ground, she is now fluffy and beautiful.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
My advice in looking for a pet sitter is to make sure to do a meet and greet first. Make sure they are a good fit for you and your kitties needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My typical process for a new client is to set up a meet and greet of at least 15 minutes to get to know them and their kitties.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
When pet sitting, I treat the clients home as if it was my own with the focus of keeping things safe and secure .
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am typically available for most holidays, if you do not see the available dates reach out to confirm, some times plans can change.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My go to cat Toys are String/wand toys, which I find help interact with kits the most. My next favorite are catnip mice that I buy in bulk.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
For 10 minutes and anxious kitties, I like to sit on the floor and make slow calculated movements and talk to the kits in a quiet manner.

I can’t say enough great things about the effort and kindness that Angel showed while caring for my 2 cats over 8 days this month. It was my first time to work with her and we set up a meet and greet a week before. I felt really good after meeting her when I saw how she picked up one of my cats and started loving on her during the meet and greet. I booked her for a daily 45 minute visit. She initiated a daily check in and sent multiple pics each day, as well as an update on how they were doing. I have one cat who is very shy and one who is very friendly and she sat on the floor by the bed loving on my friendly one while my other cat hid under the bed so she could acclimate. My shy one started coming out of her hiding space, which she’s never done before. Usually by the time I get home she’s almost a little “feral” - skittish and jumpy for a day or two but with the effort and attention Angel put in she was instantly lovey and glued to my side. My other cat didn’t seem stressed bc of the love she got while we were gone, which meant a lot to me. My dad was using a pet sitter for his dog in another state and had to ask for check-ins bc they weren’t being sent, and she brought her own pets into his home without asking. It was such a relief for me to not stress. Angel also emptied our litter robot and watered my porch plants so they wouldn’t croak. I have two upcoming trips in the next 6 months and will absolutely request her. I can’t recommend her enough.

Angel lives up to her name! My two kits took to her immediately (odd for one of them). She gave me great photo updates each visit along with an attitude assessment for each cat. Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Littleton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
