Hi, I’m Sean, a statistician who loves cats, and nothing makes me happier than a happy cat! It is an art form that I have been purrfecting over the last two years, meticulously trained by the half-dozen kitties I have regularly babysat for. On top of that, I volunteer at the Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue in Denver, and it was there a sweet, very shy 1 yo kitty named Jelly found me! I have been fostering her now for the last 3 months and counting. High quality care is extremely important to me. It takes knowledge, awareness, attention to detail, full responsibility, reliability, listening, patience, and lots of intentional energy to achieve it, all of which I have in spades. My first priority is to the happiness and physical and emotional well-being of your kitty AND their environment. That includes a clean home (no foul smells), clean bowls, clean eating area, clean litter, fresh water, a comfortable temp, plenty of food and treats, companionship, documenting and listening (looking out for subtle signs of communication or changes in behavior), and of course lots and lots of play! That’s what you get with me, every time, as well as great photos and videos! Logistics: I am typically free all days of the week, as well as holidays, and I have an all-wheel drive vehicle for the snowy days. More specific details about me below: I have a passion for animal care and love doing my part to ensure the safety and well-being of animals. To pay the bills, however, I work from home as a data scientist, having received my Ph.D. in Statistics at UC Berkeley a little over 7 years ago. I have worked primarily in cancer research and people analytics. I'm from the Bay Area originally, living in San Francisco for over 10 years before moving to Denver 3 years ago to avoid the persistent shutdown in SF caused by the pandemic. This was my first experience using a pet-sitting service and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I was gone a full week out of country and felt a lot of guilt leaving my girl for so long. Sean set my mind at ease with his first visit, and by day 2 or 3 I was wondering if my cat would even miss me. So in a word, Sean was fantastic for my cat. She's a senior, timid, and extremely vocal, but he had nothing but praise for her. His communication and photos were the best and something I looked forward to each day. I could see in the photos how happy she was. ALL the stars from me and mine! 😺

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.

To ensure total peace of mind while you're away, every Meowtel reservation comes with a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can have full confidence in your sitter before you leave.
