My name is Kristin; I grew up fairly sheltered, in the middle of no where Alaska. I have grown up with animals my entire life. I started working at an Animal Rescue at the age of 8, then as I grew, shifted my experience to Zoo work, then ended up at an Animal Hospital in Castle Pines, Colorado. I graduated, and have my degree in Veterinary Technology.
I have two Cats, that are everything to me. One is a Senior named Crowley. I started noticing him getting a little lonely when I shifted to working nights... Hey There Everyone!

That led me to rescue a barn kitten that I named Cowboy. With Anti-Anxiety Meds, a week of Slow Introductions, lots of Treats, and Reassurance, Crowley has been overjoyed having a little Brother.
I have ample experience with Felines, and I am lucky enough to be at a point in my life, where I can free up my schedule. I created this profile to potentially reach out to meet other Cat Families. I would love to be your Cat-Sitter.
I am 30 Years Old.
I am a Non-Smoker, Non-Drinker.
I have been described as the Mom Friend, and the semi stick in the mud Designated Driver. However, I choose to take that as a Compliment.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
This is very important to me, as both my Cats are off limits to only one bathroom in my Apartment. They have free roam of everywhere BUT that bathroom. It’s where I keep my plants. When I have someone over, I will even put sticky notes on the inside and outside of the door to ensure that the door remains completely closed at all times. Establishing No Go Zones for pets in homes, is always something I will ask. Even if I’m just staying over at a Friends place.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I do not have kids, or even any family that lives in the same City. It is a rare occasion that I travel for Holidays.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I love shy Mittens! We have a lot in common! I will never push boundaries. I am all about Fear Free Care, which I am specialized in from the Animal Hospital I worked at. While I do always recommend Anti-Anxiety medication for especially terrified Cats, if it’s not an option for the Parent, I completely understand, and can still give effective care without them.

Kristin watched our kitten Momo while we were away for a week, it was the first time we’ve ever left him so I felt like a nervous wreck. I combed through all the cat sitters for weeks until I finally decided on Kristin and I’m so so grateful I chose her to watch our baby. Kristin is so sweet and genuine and completely put our minds at ease. She sent us the best pictures we’ve ever gotten of him, and did everything we asked of her and more. At one point Momo burrowed under the blanket with her, which he only ever does when he’s totally at ease. You can tell she actually cares and we will 100% be using her again!

We could not be happier With the care our cats received. Kristin is sweet and dependable-The kind of person you instantly feel comfortable with in your home and taking care of your family pets. She gave our senior cat, the extra medical attention that he needed (shots) with confidence and kindness. It is rare to find such a genuine person who is patient, calm,and skilled, especially for an older cat that requires special care. We came home to relaxed, happy cats and everything in perfect order. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
