I currently own a pair of siblings that we found in my apartment complex in January 2022... I'm new to Meowtel but not new to caring for cats! I am available for cat sitting in the peninsula from San Jose to Redwood City. I like to give kitties time to get comfortable with me. When they are ready, I like to play with them using cat toys or anything available that keeps them safe. I also like to play soothing music and show them YouTube videos made for cats. It is very important to me to keep their area clean, replace their water, and follow your feeding instructions. If you are open to it, I like to send you daily updates/photos to reassure you that all is well.
I currently own a pair of siblings that we found in my apartment complex in January 2022. Though they had a rough start, Luna and Rho have blossomed into beautiful, healthy, and playful kitties who really enjoy life! Lately, I have volunteered to Trap-N-Release (TNR) feral cats in my apartment complex. It has been really satisfying to make a difference in stabilizing the colony and helping them live healthier lives.
During the day, I am a Master's-level statistician collaborating with Stanford and VA investigators on research studies focused on aging, sleep, mood disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases in older adults and veterans. I enjoy learning about different fields and collaborating on analysis and publication of research findings. In general, I value life-long learning and mastery of new skills. I enjoy people of all ages! I grew up in Mexico City, so I am proficient in Spanish. I took 4 years of French in high school, though I am only lately actively working on refreshing my listening and conversational skills. I love to read and listen to podcasts, travel, hike and spend quality time with friends and family.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Fort Collins cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Once again, Beatriz provided exceptional care for our cat during our time away. Bea is a real blessing. She is a wonderful cat sitter and we cannot express our gratitude and satisfaction enough for the exceptional care she provided to our cat while we were abroad for 3 weeks. From the moment we met her, we saw that she has a deep love and understanding of cats. While we were away, she sent daily and thorough updates with photos and videos which made us feel reassured that our cat was receiving all the love and care she deserves. Bea followed our instructions meticulously, managed to earn our cat's trust and, upon our return, we were met by a happy and relaxed cat. We also want to mention that Bea went above and beyond, being incredibly tidy and keeping our home immaculate throughout our absence. I couldn’t thank Bea enough for her care of my kitties! She deligently updated me on their status by sending pictures every day while I was traveling in Europe, and she paid extra attention to some unusual details she noticed. She also helped cleaning up threw ups, as well as excessive shedding. She went above and beyond to help comforting my poor stressed cats while I was gone for 12 days. I am very glad that I have found her, and grateful for everything she did!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Beatriz. Beatriz’s calm demeanor really shone during the meet and greet. Lorelei is a skittish gal who really doesn’t like strangers. Beatriz sat on the floor next to the couch where Lorelei was hiding under, and we did our Q&A there. She asked great questions, and I felt at ease booking. During my trip Beatriz kept me updated of Lorelei’s whereabouts, how much she was eating, etc. She kept the litter box clean, and the water bowl full. She also remained super patient, giving Lorelei her space to make the decision to come to her. And it worked! My heart was happy to see my girl out and about, even sleeping by Beatriz the third night. Upon my return my home was clean, litter clean, water and food available. And my girl was happy. I cannot express my thanks.
