I have been a cat mom for over 50 years. My favorite pet sitting cons are the ones who purr.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Snuggling with the cats and reaching that sweet point where they show their trust by letting me pet their tummies.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

Once, a few days after I finished a sitting job, the client called me crying because her cat had escaped and she couldn’t find her. I drove to her house to help and as soon as the cat heard my voice he came out of the bush he was hiding in.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

We have a senior cat named Lucy. She is a sweetheart. She lives a comfortable life with my family and has everything a cat could ask for.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Hire a sitter who is experienced with cats and who has great references from their clients. Be sure the references mention how comfortable the cat was with the sitter.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes. I can work holidays. When I have upcoming travel plans, I make a point of updating my calendar and informing my clients of dates I would not be available.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give cats all the time they need to warm up to me. Each cat goes at their own pace and I would never rush them. I will make sure their dishes are full and their litter box is clean and then sit calmly and quietly while they size me up. I’d also make sure that doors and windows are closed so there would be no escape routes.

My cat is very selective about the humans that he allows to interact with him. Nancy had him head butting from the start, which was super unusual. Nancy is a cat whisperer. She is an excellent communicator and very responsible. I highly recommend.

Nancy was an amazing cat sitter who fed our children multiple times a day. She always arrived within the window requested and provided proof with photos of her watch showing the length of the visit. We have a weird feeding situation as one of our cats is on a medicated diet and the other is not. This leads to the male trying to take the female’s unmedicated food. Nancy followed directions perfectly and was able to make sure the cats got their correct food type and portions every time she visited. She sent lovely pictures and videos of her playing with the cats, cuddling, using enrichment techniques, and getting to know them over her Five days of visits with them. Our cats seemed unstressed when we got back, which has not happened with previous sitters. She was able to make friends with our shy cat and gave them both tons of cuddles in our absence. Thank you! Would/will 100% book again!

Nancy was quick to respond and came over to see how everything was done. She was so tentative to the kitties and you could tell she really cared. We have a pill the kitty has to take and she did it with no problem. She documented what time she arrived and left which was nice too. She did great with our 2 wild kitties!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
