I also volunteer at Animal Friends Alliance, where I work with cats on the adoption floor. Through volunteering, I’ve learned that every cat has a unique personality, comfort level, and routine... Hi, my name is Ella, and I would love the opportunity to watch your cat! I currently have two cats back home that are 10 years old, and I’ve grown up with cats my entire life. They’ve always been an important part of my family, and I can’t imagine life without them.
I also volunteer at Animal Friends Alliance, where I work with cats on the adoption floor. Through volunteering, I’ve learned that every cat has a unique personality, comfort level, and routine. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I’m happy to provide the care and attention that best fits their needs.
As a pet sitter, I will make sure your cat is well cared for, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, playtime, cuddles (if they’re interested!), and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while traveling.
I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I would treat your cat with the same care and attention that I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love being able to meet new cats and learn their unique personalities. It’s rewarding to earn their trust, provide them with comfort while their owners are away, and make sure they feel safe and cared for in their own home. I also enjoy spending time playing with them, giving them attention, and making their routines as normal as possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When I work with a new cat parent, I like to start with a meet-and-greet to get to know you and your cat(s), learn their routine, personality, feeding schedule, and any special needs. I'll also go over home access, emergency contacts, and any house preferences. During each visit, I make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of attention and playtime (if they enjoy it), and I'll send photo and text updates so you know how they're doing. My goal is to keep your cat's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you're away.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to approach the cats with calmness and also recognize that not all cats want attention. I have learned to make small movements and not make the cats alarmed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Fort Collins cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
