Melanie has watched my cat a few times over the years and always does an amazing job! She always sends updates and lots of super cute pictures/videos. I had to extend my reservation during this trip by a day and she was happy to accommodate the change. I'm always a little nervous to be away from my kitty since she has some health issues, but I know she is in good hands with Melanie!

Melanie has been taking care of my cats for a few years now and always does a great job with them. From playtime, to food for the picky cat, to medications - I feel very comfortable leaving the care of my cats to Melanie.

Melanie was so thoughtful and attentive to our cat while we were away. She texted us every time she arrived, giving us tons of updates! Always so communicative, and sending pictures to keep us close to our cat! Would highly recommend Melanie to anyone looking for a reliable and considerate cat sitter!

Melanie did an amazing job with our difficult kitties. She came to visit a number of times to help our cats get acquainted, as previous sitters struggled and were ultimately not able to medicate our cat as needed. After several sessions our shy cat came out to socialize with Melanie and our grumpy cat allowed himself to be medicated just like we were doing it ourselves. My wife and I were able to take a trip out of town together for the first time ever thanks to Melanie!

Melanie was wonderful! My shy kitty warmed-up to her quickly, which is both unusual and a very good sign. The updates and photos were done in a way that was both transparent and reassuring.

Melanie was fantastic!!!! 100% recommended! We were nervous about leaving our kitties for a full 10 days--we have a divided household including two mischevious hellions, one dignified asthmatic older gentleman, and enough bad feelings between the two camps to have drawn blood and sent us to the eye specialist. Silas had never done his inhaler with anyone except for me, and I had no idea how it would go. Turned out--it was not scary leaving the cats for that long when we had Melanie!!! At the initial consult, it was very clear that Melanie is a cat person. She tuned into each individual cat. When talking about and trying medication, it was very clear that she cares about delivering it gently and, as much as possible, with consent. While we were gone, meds were delivered every day (the younger two are on psych meds to help the feud situation), and it was clear the cats all warmed up to her very quickly. Comments and anecdotes made it clear she really understood and appreciated each one as their ridiculous, fabulous individual self. When we returned it kind of felt weird to not be texting back and forth about the cats anymore! Melanie also went above and beyond to go pick up some nose drops and add them to Silas's med routine when his recurrent booger situation popped up the minute we left town. Also, she got the 2 younger ones to accept and enjoy treats that they hadn't been into before and STILL will not accept from us. And it seems like they're actually better about doing their meds now than they were when we left!

Melanie has been amazingly patient with us and our difficult kitties. As a result, my wife and I got to go on a trip together out of town for the first time in 10 years!! Thanks so much!!

This is my second timing using Melanie to watch my cat and everything went great. My cat seems to really like her and it was great getting photo updates every day.

Melanie did a great job again. She managed to give our skittish cat, who doesn't like to be messes with, her meds almost every day. She sent photos every day with is greatly appreciated.

Melanie was great with our cats. She worked with one of them to make friends and after that she followed Melanie around. She got the shyer cat to come out of hiding and was even able to give her her meds the last day. Melanie messaged me and sent multiple photos when she was there each day. She is a great communicator.

Melanie consistently shows her love of animals, (😽”kitties” in particular!), through her attention to detail, follow- up pics/ videos, and leaves a sense of “calm” knowing your fur babies are in good hands whenever you travel away!

Melanie is amazing at her job. My cats really love when she comes over to play with them! Even my shy cat is completely enamored with her. She also takes amazing photos that really capture the personality of my cats.

Melanie was great. She even got my shy kitty to come out of hiding. She texted with me while she was there and sent photos every time. The kitties were relatively calm when we got back, but it was a short trip so hopefully they do as well when we are on a longer trip. I will definitely use Melanie again.

Melanie did great! one of my kitties has asthma and needs an inhaler/meds twice a day. Melanie had no issues doing and sent me updates/pictures each day. my shy kitty even got pets from her by the end of her time. I'll definitely have her take care of my kitties again.

Melanie has taken care of my cat, Pete, twice; both times she has done an excellent job with the usual cat-related chores like feeding and litter. Where Melanie really shines is in her attention Pete's shy/avoidant personality, and her willingness to take things slow and let the cat set the pace.

Melanie cared for my 2 kitties, one with a very strict medication regime, over the course of 5 days and she was great! She was a “live-in” and kept our apartment very clean while we were gone which was great to come home to, and she made sure the kitties had fresh water and fresh litter along with their food. She gave us updates everyday, 3 times a day, every time she gave our kitty his pill and was right on time for every one. Worth every penny! We will definitely be hiring her again!

I loved getting updates and photos, it was so reassuring to hear Melanie's updates and she took great care of my cats.

I've used Melanie a few times for overnights and regular visits. one of my cats had a last moment ear infection, Melanie did amazing job keeping me updated and giving meds! my other cat can take years to warm up to people and is already comfortable around Melanie 😊

I have used Melanie a couple of times now for my two cats and she has been amazing with them each time. One of my cats is shy and timid with new people but Melanie sends me pictures of her rolling on the floor next to her wanting rubs! I will definitely continue using Melanie in the future.

There was communication and pictures sent whenever Melanie came by to check on my cat Tiger. Tiger also warmed up to her really fast when normally she puffs and runs from new people.

Melanie was amazing with my cat, Hank. She watched him for 8 days over the Christmas holiday and was so considerate. I received confirmation messages and cute pictures everyday. It was a relief to know every day that my guy was being so well taken care of. I’ll be using Melanie in the future!!

She’s fantastic! She’s looked after my cat for thanksgiving and Christmas vacations now. I didn’t specify morning or afternoon but she arrived at the same time of day every day. She also made a point to learn if my cat was a cuddler or likes to play. She sent at least 5+ pictures or videos daily. :)
