Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have four wonderful cats! Melli and Magpie were once strays living on the streets. A kind family member gave them a loving home, and I was honored to adopt them when that family member passed away. My other two, Sabrina and Coco, were adopted from the Humane Society. Each one has their own personality, and they’re all deeply loved members of my family.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I recommend meeting the sitter in person first to see how they interact with your cat and to ensure expectations are clear on both sides. Look for someone who treats pet sitting as a professional responsibility—check if they’re insured, have passed a background check and communicate clearly. It’s also reassuring to know they provide daily updates with photos, so you can stay connected while you're away. Lastly, read reviews and ask for recommendations to ensure you're choosing someone experienced, trustworthy, and a great fit for both you and your cat.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I’m always mindful of both safety and security. I enter and exit carefully to prevent any curious kitties from slipping out. I follow all instructions closely—whether it’s about toys that can be left out, food they can eat, rooms the cat is allowed in or making sure potentially dangerous items like strings are safely put away. I also double-check that doors are locked and the home is secure before I leave each visit. The cat’s safety and home’s security are top priorities for me.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
