What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Cats thrive on routine. I take time to understand your cat's daily schedule, favorite toys, hiding places, feeding preferences, and unique personality. Rather than rushing through visits, I focus on creating a calm, reassuring experience that helps your cat feel safe while you're away. My goal isn't simply to "check in." It's to provide companionship, consistency, and attentive care. I've owned cats for over 25 years and have taken care of other peoples kitties for a few years; friends and family.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I know trusting someone with your cat and your home is a big decision. I have a true love for cats and know they are unique pets with many special needs. My promise is to provide dependable, thoughtful care with clear communication from the moment you book until you return home. When you're away, you deserve complete peace of mind—and your cat deserves compassionate care.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
After a meet and greet with my client, I was told “our cat is very shy.” So I expected to have to earn her trust. They were gone for 10 days. I made my visits predictable and calm. I brought a few toys and made sure to wear clothing my cats had not touched. By day 3, Charlie made her way to see me and we were fast friends.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Parker cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
