The best sitter isn’t just someone who feeds your cat—they understand feline behavior, respect boundaries, and know how to care for cats of all ages and personalities. Look for someone experienced, patient, and genuinely passionate about cats. I’ve lived with cats my whole life and love caring for all kinds—from playful kittens to older, more sensitive companions. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets cats, I’d be happy to help.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When I care for timid or anxious cats, my first priority is making them feel safe. I never rush them or force interaction—instead, I give them space and let them come to me when they’re ready. I’ll often just sit quietly nearby so they can observe me without pressure. I move slowly, speak softly, and pay close attention to their body language. If they’re hiding, I respect that and make sure they know they have safe spots they can retreat to. I’ve found that patience, calm energy, and consistency go a long way! Sometimes I’ll leave something with my scent nearby or offer treats from a distance to help build trust. Over time, even the shyest cats usually start to warm up when they know they’re being respected and cared for on their terms. ❤️

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
