I just moved to the city and never had any experience with this app or cat sitters in general. I usually had only my most trusted friends feed my cat when I was away. I knew when I got the new city I was going to dread the thought of going away for work and having a stranger watch the cat. eventually that day came when I got a last minute call to work out of town for a few days. after poking around on Reddit I heard of Meowtel and gave it a shot since I really had no other choice. Tamara was one of the available sitters and I reached out. After a brief call, to get her vibe and explain my situation I booked her immediately. she was very professional and kind on the phone. the next morning I left and it was all in her hands from there. on that phone call she reassured me that she will take good care of my cat and I wouldn’t have to worry…and let me just say she was right! my cat is a very shy / scared and after the first meeting Tamara was petting her! what a cat-whisperer she is! Tamara was super communicative and sent texts when she entered the house and when she left. she also sent numerous photos and vids every visit! I can’t tell you how much those little photos and videos eased my mind while away. eventually she even got my cat to play and purr! (I’m telling you this is rare for my cat to do with strangers) literally everything about Tamara was amazing and I will absolutely be booking her again in the future! if you’re on the fence about this app or Tamara in general, trust me and go for it! Tamara is the best!

I would highly recommend Tamara. My cat Thomas had been diagnosed with diabetes and was recently hospitalized 5 days before I left for my trip. For any new cat, parents can be very stressful. Tamara quickly adapted to his changing medical condition. Which helped me gain peace of mind that he was going to be well taken care of.

Tamara was fantastic and shared plenty of photos and videos daily. She provided lots of details on how the cats were doing and if she noticed anything out of the ordinary. She sent messages when she arrived and left. I felt very comfortable with my kitties in her care.

Tamara was soooo awesome !! 🌠 It was my and my bf's first time away from the 🐈🐈‍⬛ for a week, and Tamara made us feel secure through photos and constant contact. She even checked on my gecko and replaced his water! She's so sweet and reliable! 100% would recommend !!
