My name is Elizabeth and I share my home, with three very spoiled and very loved cats who are truly part of our family.
My experience goes beyond just being a pet owner. I’ve also fostered kittens, treating illnesses and infections (applying eye ointment and oral medication) helping them grow and socializing them. That experience has given us a strong understanding of different cat personalities, from shy and timid to playful and energetic.
I know how important it is to feel confident that your cat is safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with cats on their terms—whether that means playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I love cat sitting. I feel like we understand each other or at least are on a similar wavelength as far as not encroaching on each other spaces lol I’m a little shy
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love love love cats! I love to get to know them and give them their space if they need it. I like to know that they have company while their family is away
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I stayed overnight to foster kittens and it was a beautiful experience. They were purring and looking for love and came and snuggled up to me.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
We have 3 cats. Audrey is the oldest, she will be 9 this year. Rex is our only boy and he’s 3. Flower is our newest and she’s 1.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Try to keep your cat in your own home instead of boarding them. Maybe leave something behind for your cat that smells like you
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I love to schedule a meet and greet and get to know the cat parent and see their routine with their cat. I also like to try to meet the cat and at least let them smell my hand to get an initial acquaintance going between us
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
By adhering to all the rules the cat parent has left for me. Personally I never leave out any toys that might be swallowed without supervision.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I’m usually available during holidays. We don’t like traveling on holidays and I have my own cats at home
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love teasers. Recently for my cats I love this interactive mat that has a few different modes to keep my cats stimulated.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them their space to learn everything new in their environment. I like to give them time to come up to me at their own pace.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
