What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

don’t have formal cat-sitting experience yet, but I’ve worked in the veterinary field and currently foster cats and kittens for a rescue. I’m very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and personalities — from shy rescues to playful kittens! I’m experienced with feeding, medications, and spotting any signs of trouble, and I always make sure they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Since I’ve worked in the vet field and foster cats for a rescue, I really appreciate being able to give them gentle care, attention, and a calm routine. It’s rewarding to know they feel safe and loved

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

On top of my rescue fosters, I have my own personal cats. Drago, Shiro, Mr kibbles, Laverne, Lilly, Chloe, Hobbes, Jasper and Nugget

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Not all pet sitters understand the dynamics of cats/kittens. They are a unique breed of animals and should hire a sitter that has experience working with various personalities.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When I work with a new cat parent, I like to start by learning all about their cat’s routine — feeding schedule, favorite toys, quirks, and any special needs or medications. I’ll usually set up a quick meet-and-greet so your cat can get familiar with me and you can feel confident about the care they’ll get. During each visit, I make sure they’re fed, litter is clean, and they get playtime or cuddles (depending on their personality!). I always send updates and photos so you know how they’re doing while you’re away

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

know how important it is to feel your cat and home are safe while you’re away. I always make sure doors and windows are secure, your kitty stays safely indoors, and their space is tidy and comfortable. I follow your routine closely and keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I’m usually available during holidays since I know that’s when many people I’m always happy to spend the holidays making sure kitties feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I move slowly, talk softly, and let them warm up in their own time. With my background in the vet field and experience fostering rescue cats, I’ve learned how to read their body language and make them feel safe. My goal is to earn their trust and keep them as relaxed and comfortable as possible while you’re away

Dawn was amazing! She took the time to pet and play with our sassy calico each day, and was even able to accommodate adding an extra day to the reservation at the last minute! During our time away we felt truly comfortable leaving our Torie in Dawn's capable care, and the picture proved how much fun they were having. We look forward to the possibility of having Dawn's take care of Torie again!

Dawn did an excellent job of taking care of Boots while we were out of state for awhile. She made sure to let us know what he was doing, what he was eating, and send photos every day. We were able to enjoy or vacation knowing Dawn was taking care of Boots at home. We highly recommend Dawn and will definitely be using her services again.

Dawn is a huge asset for our rescue. She is very organized and documents everything done with each kitten in her care from intake to adoption. She pays attention to detail and watching for any changes with the kitties in her care. All of her kittens raised are the sweetest and healthiest and always adopt out quickly. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
