I’ve owned cats my whole life, as well as having 6 years of small animal veterinary experience. I know how important these babies are to their families, and strive to provide loving care while you are away.
Each visit, I will come in, make sure they are fed per your specific instructions, fresh and clean water available, and depending on your cats personality-I will sit and love on them, play, or just be present in the home for them. I am comfortable administering medications if needed, and have experience with every kitty personality-ranging from our friendly, playful babes to our spicier friends.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for around 15 years for friends and family, later my clients from the vet I worked at. I love meeting all sorts of cat personalities and live for bonding with each!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cats are so much fun. The range in personality is fascinating, and I enjoy interacting with any baby I can!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 3 Siamese cats- My silly, sweet boy Albus, my spicy bossy boy Aberforth, and my aloof and quiet girl Arianna. They are all different and complete the family!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The most important thing when hiring a cat sitter would be someone who you meet and feel you can trust. A caring, knowledgeable individual is key. You are trusting your world in their hands-you want someone who can deliver thorough care, communication you feel comfortable with, and know they will know what to do when communication is not as easily feasible.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Meeting is number one. Making sure you are comfortable with me as a person, and then moving to a thorough run down of your daily needs while you’re away. From visit amounts, food schedules, amounts of food, activity levels, litter box changing schedule, and important cat personality traits, I want to know it all!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I personally have an indoor cat who in her heart feels she should be an outdoor cat, so I am very used to being cautious entering the home. Every visit, I will make sure the cat(s) are eating, drinking water, using the litter box, and make sure I physically see them. Of course, prior to leaving, I will make sure all windows/doors, etc are all closed, and make sure the cat(s) have access to where they are supposed to be, or not have access to where they should not be, if applicable
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I rarely travel during “busy” times and have a flexible lifestyle easily able to accommodate multiple visits and even clients.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
With 6 years of vet experience and fear free training, I am passionate about learning each cats personality, and not pushing them past their limits. Cats can become stressed when their families are away, so I will always do what I can in order to meet their needs. I will walk slowly, speak quietly, and never try to interact hands on with a cat who does not want to be loved on. If allowed, I’m happy to give treats and earn trust.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
