My experience?
My mom has rescued cats since I was born. From a child to an adult, I have learned how to communicate with cats and care for them. Now, with 18 cats of my own, I am very experienced with their care!! I am great at reading body language, respecting their boundaries, and understanding cats. And more than anything, I love cats. They are special and so unique in their own ways.
Specialized care?
I have experience with all types of cats.
Playful cats? I love playing! Using cat toys and getting some energy out is important. Im also not afraid of a little playful biting and scratching.
What about nervous/anxious cats? I completely understand. I am able to read their body language and give them time and space. It takes time for a cat to trust someone new, and I respect that.

I can immediately tell when a cat is going to resort to aggressive tactics such as scratching, growling, or biting, and I always back off immediately. I never approach or pet a cat that doesn’t want it.
What about disabled cats? I have the most experience with them! All my cats are rescues and have had their own conditions. I make sure to provide them with extra care, ensuring their health is prioritized.
To sum it up, I have experience with every type of cat. And depending on their personality, I treat every cat differently in terms of care, with the same amount of love and respect as every other cat!
Well, who am I?
In general, Im a very calm and kind person. My personality is best described as gentle, however I can be more energetic at times. My personal interests are animals, music, reading, drawing, and writing. I love artistic activities the most, and it has led me to become a very creative and unique person. In my spare time, I volunteer at the humane society with the cats. For my job, I work at pet supermarket.

How do I feel about cats?
I love being with cats and taking care of them. Being trusted to take care of someone’s cat is a privilege and something I am excited to do. Cats are amazing, unique creatures that Ive always admired. My own cats have been there for me whenever I am down, and they mean the world to me. They are precious and special. I also simply love being with cats!
Every cat, no matter the personality, is special and deserves love.
How do I care for your cat?
When I am with your cat, their needs are my top priority. Adequate food and water is important, along with freshly scooped litter. Most importantly, I love connecting with cats and learning their unique personalities. I also want to mention that I am always on time and stay for as long as you want me to be there. Whatever you need me to do for your cat, I will do it. Scooping litter? Special feeding needs? Medication administering? I can do it all. And if you have any questions on my abilities, please ask!
Communication?
I understand worrying about your cat, and so I utilize top communication. If you feel worried, text me! And I always send a picture of your cat and a message describing the visit after each drop in. That way, you get updates on how your cat is doing, what got done, along with a picture so that you know theyre safe.
I want to stress that you can never communicate too much. I love to learn all about your cat, and anything you want to tell me is valued and important. In terms of care, if have specific ways you want your cat cared for, please let me know in detail! I want to follow their regular procedures so they are most comfortable.
How often can I text?
Please don’t worry about asking questions or texting me too much. Im happy to answer!! Notifications don’t bother me and I also completely understand asking questions. Text me anytime, about anything.
What do I need to know?
When reaching out to me, I need to know a few things. Times of drop ins + how long you want me to stay is necessary. Please describe feeding procedures, along with a description of any other tasks youd like me to do. Also, anything you want to let me know about your cat is appreciated. Although I will get to know them on my own, I always appreciate a heads up on how they normally act.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cat sitting is something very special! However, what I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know your cat. I love learning each unique personality of every kitty, and watching them learn to trust me is always an exciting experience.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 18 cats!! However, there are two cats of mine that I am especially bonded with. Luna is my favorite, (dont tell the others!) and I am very close with her. We understand each other on a deep level, and always try to cheer each other up when one of us is feeling down. My other cat that Im bonded to is named Monkey. (because he’s chunky!) Unlike Luna who is more docile and calm, Monkey is always looking for attention and wants to play. I love giving him affection, as he’s very enthusiastic about being pet. However, I love all my kitties! They are all so special to me.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I am usually available on holidays. I usually don’t do anything special for holidays. However, if you aren’t sure if I’ll be available, please ask!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
