I’ve been around cats for more than 15 years and have always had a special connection with them. I’m patient, gentle, and very attentive to their individual personalities and needs. I truly believe that every cat has their own little personality — some want cuddles and attention, while others need a little more time and space to feel comfortable.
Cats tend to warm up to me pretty quickly, and I’m very good at reading their body language and respecting their boundaries. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or extremely affectionate, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own.
As a cat mom myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll keep their routine as consistent as possible, give them plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your kitty is in good hands.

I have a Scottish Straight cat named Casey. She’s very independent, well-mannered, and incredibly sweet. She never gets into trouble and always behaves like a little lady. She has a very calm, dignified, almost regal personality.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I’m generally available on holidays and would be happy to help care for your cat while you’re away. My weekends can be busy, especially during the daytime, but I’m often available in the evenings depending on my schedule. I always recommend reaching out in advance so we can check availability for your specific dates.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I’m very patient with anxious or shy cats and never try to force interaction. I give them time and space to feel comfortable and let them approach me at their own pace. I’ve always seemed to have a natural connection with cats, and even with nervous cats belonging to friends and family, they often come out and approach me on their own. I think they can sense that I’m calm, gentle, and respectful of their boundaries, which helps them feel safe and build trust with me.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
