What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been caring for cats since I was a teenager, mainly for friends and neighbors who trusted me to look after their pets while they were away. I’ve also always lived with cats, which has given me daily, hands-on experience in understanding their behavior, emotional needs, and routines. Over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in observing subtle changes in mood or health, administering food or medication as needed, and creating a calm, stress-free environment. I’m also very patient, respectful of each cat’s personality, and skilled at gaining their trust without rushing the interaction. My approach is always gentle, attentive, and guided by the individual needs of each cat.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I always begin with a conversation to understand the cat’s routine, personality, and preferences. I ask detailed questions about feeding schedules, favorite toys, litter box habits, hiding spots, and any medical or behavioral considerations. If possible, I like to arrange a short visit before the official sitting begins, to get acquainted with the cat and ensure a smooth transition. Throughout the service, I stay in close communication with the owner, providing photo or video updates. I also like to share time-stamped proof of my arrival, the duration of my visit, and my departure. This helps build trust and transparency, and reassures the owner that their cat is receiving the care and attention they deserve.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I’m extremely respectful and responsible with both the pets and the home. I lock all doors carefully, follow instructions precisely, and can provide time-stamped proof of my visits if requested. I also monitor the cat’s behavior closely to quickly spot any signs of discomfort or health issues and will notify the owner immediately if something seems unusual.

our cats LOVED Paola!! Paola sent photos and videos of our cats each day and they were always thrilled to see her. My fiancé and I were out of town for about a week and a half and Paola made sure our cats’ food bowls, water dish, and litter box were always clean and fresh. The girls were also played with and received lots of love! So much so that they both seemed disappointed when we returned home!! I would 100% recommend Paola to care for your critters and will absolutely be booking with her again :)

Paola did an amazing job looking after my 3 kitties! She was very attentive and nurturing. She went out of her way to make sure my shier cats, who like to hide, had the opportunity to eat. She sent me lots of pics and videos of my babies which always made me feel better. She did everything I asked of her and more. I will definitely be booking her again!!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
