I’m experienced with shy or anxious cats, playful kittens, and senior cats who may need extra patience and gentle care. I’m also comfortable administering medications, including pills and liquid medications, when needed. I always follow instructions carefully to make sure your cat’s routine stays as consistent as possible.
During visits I’ll refresh food and water, scoop the litter box, provide enrichment or playtime, and give your cat plenty of attention (or quiet company if that’s what they prefer). I always move at your cat’s pace and respect their boundaries.
You’ll also receive updates and photos after visits so you can feel confident that your cat is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾

I do petsit full time, so I am available year round, holidays included. As long as I have advance notice, I am super open and flexible!
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy is definitely a wand toy. I love how interactive they are and how they really get cats moving and using their hunting instincts. Some cats get so riled up chasing the feathers or string and it’s honestly the best to watch. It’s also a great way to help them burn off energy and have some fun during visits. Plus it’s a good way to bond with cats, especially ones that are a little shy at first.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always let shy or anxious cats move at their own pace. I never force interaction and try to keep things calm and predictable for them. Sometimes that means just sitting quietly in the same room so they can get used to me, talking softly, or offering a toy or treat if they seem interested. Over time most cats start to get curious and come out on their own. My goal is just to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away, even if that means giving them space and being a calm presence. Every cat is different, so I try to follow their cues and respect their boundaries.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
