Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have three cats: Juniper, Julian and Augie. We rescued Juniper from the outdoors, and she was pregnant. She gave birth to Julian two days after we brought her home. Julian had no litter mates, so we adopted Augie so he would have a brother to wrestle with.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I would advise you to ask plenty of questions of your sitter. You want someone who is knowledgeable about cats, and who is also responsible. Feel free to ask, "What would you do if...?" questions. Your sitter should have confident answers on how take care of your cats, your home and any emergencies that arise. Your sitter should also ask you lots of questions, and make you feel at ease at your meet and greet.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I would love to watch your kitties on any holiday! And maybe even bring them a special holiday treat!

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy is a feather wand. My cats go crazy for it, and it's fun for me to have interactive play with them.

Rachael has taken care of our sweet Lacey many times. She asks plenty of questions to ensure everything is to Lacey's liking. Rachael comes by twice per day to feed Lacey, let her out on the patio, change her litter, and give her plenty of attention. This is what separates Rachael from other caretakers. She doesn't just stop over to feed Lacey. She keeps her company and gives her attention for an extended period of time not because she has to, but because she wants to. She genuinely loves cats. When we leave town, we of course miss Lacey but feel assured knowing that Rachael will take exceptional care of her.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
