Hello, i'm Sankara, lifelong cat parent. I’ve lived with cats from childhood through adulthood. Have had/lived with & cared for almost half a dozen different cats over the years in different homes I've lived in, in the U.S. and abroad (including France and parts of Africa).
My approach centers calmness, patience, and adaptability—because every cat has a different comfort level, routine, and personality. I follow instructions closely and prioritize low-stress care: fresh food and water, clean litter, gentle play/enrichment (or quiet companionship for shy cats), and a tidy reset of the space before I leave. I pay attention to small changes in mood, appetite, and litter habits and will message you promptly if anything seems off. You’ll get consistent updates with photos and a quick summary each visit. If you’d like, we can do a short meet-and-greet to confirm routines and preferences.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
It's always my pleasure to be around cats at any point in time but really knowing how difficult it is to maneuver finding help to care for a cat while away and traveling myself it's a pleasure to be able to help others take care of their lovely fur companions so they can move freely stress free
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My sweetest dearest clingiest cat Kuro, whom I was blessed to have by my side for 12 years since I was young, passed away recently from cancer. I Keep her leash(Yes, we used to go on walks !) in my room and sometimes hook it to my pants to my belt loop & let it hang at my side like an accessory.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I used to have two different very timid cats along with my very clingy cat, same mother, born in my house but took years for the last of the three to fully warm up to my family, he was naturally deeply anxious about touch. Learned if you bring a level of stillness tranquility and quiet into the space and show cats a calm consistent care from a distance(with their food toys water etc...), they'll be safe enough to test their own boundaries and anxieties and approach and let themselves be cared for

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Miami cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
