What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve always been the person friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers trust to care for their animals. I also have two senior cats of my own, whom I’ve raised since they were kittens for over 16 years, giving me extensive hands-on experience with cats of different ages and needs. Additionally, I have an Associate’s Degree in Animal Sciences from Santa Fe College, where my program included specialized training through the Zoo Technician program. My education and personal experience have given me a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, safety, and providing compassionate, attentive care.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
My favorite part of cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personality, quirks, and routines. I love building trust with them and making them feel comfortable while their families are away. It’s also incredibly rewarding knowing I can give pet parents peace of mind by providing their cats with the same care, attention, and love they would receive at home.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two precious kitties with two very different personalities! My sweet girl, Lily, a gorgeous gray tabby who I’ve raised from a kitten to her now, 16th year! She is super independent and sassy, but she has her loving and cuddly moments when she chooses to! And my boy, Leon, who we adopted from a kill shelter at only a month old, is now 11 years old! He is my shy boy who likes to sunbathe and nap all day, but gets very loud when he wants to play. My sweet babies have truly showed me my immense passion in caring for animals and the love animals can make a person feel as well as seeing how unique each kitty can be with their special everyday routines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
