My senior cat, Beni, is 16 1/2 years old so I am very accustomed to dealing with picky eating, vomiting, arthritis, IBD, hyperthyroidism, and administering medications (pills/liquids/subcutaneous, not IV). I almost lost him at the age of four to an MRSP infection (it’s like MRSA in humans) so I learned years ago to pay attention to signs and recognize symptoms. Behavior recognition is key for pets like cats and smaller animals that tend to hide when sick, and a trait that only comes from years of small animal care experience.

Your precious fur baby will be in loving and attentive hands under my care and your home will be as clean as you left it. Dirty litter boxes are a pet peeve of mine (no pun intended!) and will be cleaned at every visit, along with litter scatter.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

Although not professionally, I have cat sit for friends and family since I was a teenager. Having cats in my adult life has taught me that cats are not as easy as everyone thinks they are. There are so much more complex than dogs and it saddens me that most people dismiss them as “just a cat.” I am extremely attentive and pay attention to eating and bathroom habits on the daily. I consider senior cats my specialty, as my boy himself is 16 1/2 years old.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one senior cat. His name is Beni and he is 16 1/2 years old. He has arthritis, hyperthyroidism, and IBD. He has had I-131 treatment already but his T4 is going up so it looks like we may have to do another round… Sadly 😿

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am available some holidays, usually not Christmas. Please inquire for specific holidays in advance so that I can plan ahead.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
