I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have had cats since I got my very first one in third grade. I’m definitely a cat person, although truthfully, I’m an all-animals person! Over the years, I’ve cared for both cats and dogs for friends and family and have become the person they trust to look after their pets when they’re away.
I was born and raised in Sarasota and know the area very well. I understand that every cat has their own personality, from the social kitty who wants all the attention to the shy one who prefers to observe from a safe distance. I’m patient and happy to let them warm up to me on their own terms.
During visits, I’m attentive to the little things: fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime, affection when wanted, and making sure everything seems normal and your kitty is comfortable and happy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care, and I’d treat both with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been caring for cats for friends and family for over 10 years. I’ve also had cats of my own since I was a child, so I’m very comfortable with their different personalities, routines, and needs. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from outgoing, affectionate cats to shy kitties who need a little more patience and space. I truly enjoy getting to know each cat and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do! My girl Mallory is 17 years old and has been part of my family for pretty much all of her life. She’s a beautiful tabby with the tiniest little paws, tufts of hair on the tips of her ears that make her look a bit like a miniature bobcat, and a purr so loud you can practically feel your chest vibrating when she sits on you! Mallory was also part of a bonded pair with my boy Mickie, who passed away at 16 this February. They spent nearly their entire lives together, so losing him has been an adjustment for both of us. She’s getting lots of extra love these days. Having loved and cared for cats well into their senior years has definitely given me a special appreciation for just how individual they are and how much a part of the family they become.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent, I like to take the time to meet with them and, of course, meet their kitty (or kitties!) before their first reservation. I want to learn their normal routine, feeding schedule, personality, favorite things, medications or special needs, and any little quirks that help them feel comfortable. I’m a note-taker, so I like to make sure I understand exactly what you want and that I can comfortably accommodate your cat’s needs. I also think it’s important for both the cat parent and sitter to feel comfortable with each other before moving forward. Most importantly I want your cat’s routine to stay as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
