My love for cats began at age 10, when my family rescued two tiny kittens from Morocco during a vacation. That moment sparked a lifelong devotion to understanding, nurturing, and protecting felines at every stage of life.

With decades of hands‑on feline experience, including bottle‑fed babies, special‑needs kitties, and emotionally sensitive cats, I offer gentle, attentive care that helps each cat feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely loved. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been caring for cats since I was 10 years old, and it has always felt like a soft, familiar part of my life. I grew up helping mother cats give birth, nursing tiny kittens, and staying up through the night with the ones who needed extra love or medical attention. Over the years, I’ve cared for playful, confident cats as well as seniors, fragile ones, and those recovering from illness, including giving medication when needed. When I’m looking after someone’s cat, I try to keep their little world feeling safe and steady. I make sure their litter stays clean, their water is always fresh, and their feeding schedule is followed exactly the way they’re used to. I spend time sitting with them, playing, talking softly, or simply keeping them company so they feel comforted while their family is away. Caring for cats has always been natural to me.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love helping cats feel safe and cozy, keeping their owners happy, and discovering each kitty’s unique, gentle personality with care.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my favorite cat‑sitting adventures started with a 12‑year‑old gentleman whose owners warned me, very seriously, that he was “boring.” They said he didn’t do much, didn’t play, didn’t explore, basically a sweet little couch ornament. Well… challenge accepted. I treated him just like I used to treat the cats on my farm. We went outside for little strolls, sniffed every flower like it was a brand‑new perfume, watched the chickens gossip, and let him soak in all the fresh air and farm magic. And something adorable happened - he lit up. Within days, this “boring” cat was trotting around with a spark in his eyes, tail up, acting like he had rediscovered his inner kitten. He was curious, playful, and clearly very proud of himself. His owners came back to a cat who looked like he had been on a wellness retreat. It still makes me smile.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
