As someone who has lived with and cared for cats and dogs for years (including some wonderful furry roommates), I understand that every cat has their own personality, needs, and routines. Creating a calm, safe, loving environment for animals genuinely comes naturally to me that I enjoy providing for my clients.
I’ve also been fortunate to be mentored by my older sister who is an... Welcome! My goal is to provide thoughtful, attentive care for both you and your cat — creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience while you’re away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been caring for cats for the past few years for friends and family whenever needed. It’s always been a genuinely rewarding experience.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Acts of service have always been important to me, which is one of the reasons I enjoy cat sitting. I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality — whether they’re playful, independent, affectionate, or wonderfully aloof — and creating an experience where they feel comfortable, understood, and cared for.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
One of my favorite experiences has been the bond I built with a former coworker’s rescue cat. She found a little black cat on the side of the road and one day we came up with the name Billy — the rest is history. Billy is full of personality and energy, which makes caring for him especially fun. We play fetch often and I’ve even mastered turning “medicine time” into treat time with a few sneaky snacks along the way. Building trust, learning their quirks, and forming genuine connections with cats like Billy is one of the most rewarding parts of pet care for me.

Jared was the "purrfect" cat sitter. He was extremely professional; contacting me in timely manner, setting up the meet and greet, explaining the process, and following up if I had any questions. I have an elderly cat that needed constant wet food including specifc instructions on how to feed, he was able follow them and even was kind enough to clean up her hairball messes. I loved that he would text me daily communication with videos and staus of their food, water and litter conditions as well as play time! Those were the best as I missed my cats dearly and looked foward to those updates daily. He was able to connect with my other fraidy-cat and got him to come out and play and warm up to him quickly. It was so comforting to know that Jared was taking such good care of them that I could relax while I was away. He genuinely shows true love to our cats! I will definitely be booking with Jared again and I highly recommend him to anyone else.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Tampa cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
