Because of my fostering experience, I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine... Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a proud cat mom and have been fostering kittens through my local animal shelter for the past three years. Fostering has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I love helping shy, sick, and playful kittens grow into happy, healthy cats before they find their forever homes.
Because of my fostering experience, I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine. Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers a little extra patience and quiet, I’m happy to meet them where they’re comfortable.
I’m flexible with the type of care you need, whether that’s overnight stays, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, litter box care, medication, or simply spending quality time giving your cat companionship while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your cat feels safe, loved, and cared for in the comfort of their own home.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My kitties names are Ophelia (OP for short), Acorn (Corn for short lol!), and the newest family member Bennie! I fostered Bennie from 2 weeks old, when the shelter wasn’t sure he would make it. I felt so connected to him as I helped him grow and thrive that I just had to foster fail!
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am absolutely available for holidays. I’d love to take the stress off your shoulders so you can enjoy a wonderful holiday with your friends and family!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I know every cat is different, and I never expect one to warm up to me right away. With my experience fostering kittens, I’ve learned that patience is everything. I let cats approach me on their own terms and never force interaction. If a cat wants to hide, I’ll respect their space while still making sure they have fresh food, water, a clean litter box, and everything they need. For timid or anxious cats, I’m just as happy to sit quietly nearby so they can get used to my presence. My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away, so they feel safe and comfortable until you return.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Canton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
