Kelcie took fantastic care of our kittens! One of our cats, which usually is socially timid, grew to be very fond of Kelcie in just a day. Additionally, Kelcie was very helpful, communicative, and sent us lots of pictures of the kittens while we were away.

This was my first time leaving my sweet boy with a sitter to go on vacation. He is usually very timid around new people and will hide under the bed. At the meet & greet he walked right up to Kelcie. That helped ease my mind a little. Once I started getting daily photos & videos from Kelcie I had no worries. The texts showed him having a great time with her. He loved all the attention, and even had chirps for her. And she swept up the litter that he tracks all over. Above & beyond. I will definitely choose Kelcie the next time I need to take a trip. Her 5 star reviews are well deserved.

My husband and I cannot recommend Kelcie enough! Our almost 14-year-old cat, Oscar, has faced several medical issues in recent years, which means he needs medication twice a day. Because of this (as well as hearing some horror stories from friends and family about unreliable sitters), we had basically stopped traveling altogether. We just couldn’t bear the thought of someone not *really* giving our four-legged kid the care and attention he needs and deserves. So for years now, we've just opted to stay home, handcuffed to our sweet boy, avoiding even the short weekend getaways. We had been wanting to visit my husband’s brother at his new lake house for almost two years, but always turned down invitations out of worry. Since it was only a two hour trip, we decided to finally give it a try. Having never used a pet sitter before, we started to research. We came across Meowtel's website—and then Kelcie. Before even finishing reading her bio, I had a great gut feeling about her. I reached out with some questions, and right away her warmth and professionalism came through. Phew!! Step one, check! Despite our very last-minute request, she was incredibly accommodating and made time to meet us before we left town. During the meet & greet, she asked thoughtful questions and truly listened, making it clear she genuinely wanted to care for Oscar as if he were her own. Now, Oscar isn’t an easy cat. Between his medical issues and his age, he can be a little cranky and is usually shy and skittish around new people. At the meet & greet he kept his distance, but we weren't too concerned by that. As long as someone went to check on him, feed him, and give him his meds twice a day- that pretty much checked all of our boxes. Phew!! Step two, check! That first night after we left town, we kept our phones nearby, and volumes up, somewhat nervously awaiting an update on her first visit with Oscar (you know, as Helicopter Parents do... ha!), but were immediately at ease when she checked in with us that evening. Phew!! Step three, check!!! Kelcie is truly a Cat Whisperer! After that very first visit, we were absolutely blown away. She went above and beyond anything we were imagining her visits were going to be. We assumed she'd go inside, make sure he had fresh food and water, then wrangle him out of wherever he was hiding to force him to take his pill, then be on her way. Ha, we couldn't have been any further from the reality of what ended up actually transpiring! The photos and videos she sent not only showed Oscar rubbing against her and purring up a storm- but showed the two of them playing together! Oscar clearly, without a doubt, was loving her company. Our jaws hit the floor, we couldn’t believe it! Not to mention he didn't put up a fight with her when she gave him his meds! Incredible!! (also... I’m convinced she should be, or was in a past life, a professional photographer. The photos were absolutely beautiful and captured the most perfect candid moments) The second morning, I woke up early, awaiting the next update. It was every bit as impressive as the first visit. Oscar loved her. Oscar played with her. Oscar didnt fight with her when it was time for his medicine. It was truly heartwarming to see, and from that moment forward we trusted her completely. Our anxiety melted away, we let go of our phones, and actually enjoyed our mini-vacation! That level of peace of mind is priceless. (& Kelcie, I don't know that Ted and I will ever be able to really express our utmost gratitude... "Thank you" doesn't even begin to cover it... <3 ) For the first time in years, we felt free. Free to leave home without guilt, free from the stress and worry of whether Oscar was okay. It’s hard to explain how much that means, but to us- Kelcie gave us back something we thought we had lost. As long as Kelcie is in the area, she will absolutely be our go-to sitter. She is the sweetest, most kind, genuine, attentive, and just a simply wonderful human being!! We are so incredibly grateful to have found her!

I wish there was an option to give Kelcie 1000 stars. Kelcie IS the kitty whisperer. she was professional, communicating prior to me leaving on vacation, followed my notes to a T and even got my kitty out from hiding during her visits. I received photos and videos during each visit and was at ease my little one was cared for while I way away.

Kelcie is extraordinary. She is knowledgeable, communicative and showed genuine concern and compassion for my cats. In all honesty, they had better care with her than they are when I'm home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our kitten while we were on vacation! Kelcie was absolutely amazing—so kind, attentive, and clearly a true animal lover. Our kitten is still very young and needs a lot of extra attention, but Kelcie gave him all the love and care he needed and more 🩷 She kept us updated multiple times a day with messages, photos, and videos, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was so clear from the updates that our little guy felt completely safe and happy with her 🥹 She played with him throughout the day, made sure all his needs were met, and gave him the one-on-one attention he needs at this stage. From the moment we dropped him off, he seemed to feel comfortable with Kelcie—something that’s not always easy with a young kitten in a new environment. We are so grateful for the care and love she showed him 🫶🏼 We wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again in the future. Kelcie was so amazing! This was the first time I was leaving my new kitten alone for a trip after getting her, and I was so nervous. But immediately upon meeting Kelcie, I could tell by her calming and relaxed energy, that she was going to be a great sitter. And great she was! Kelcie sent in multiple photos and videos each day of my girl and always offered reassuring updates that helped me relax and enjoy my trip. She handled my apartment situation with ease and made sure she was always there to care for my cat. Kelcie was beyond amazing! She sent me daily pictures and videos of my cats (really good ones ones, too!) and always showed up at our agreed upon visit time. She would send me an update and take the time to text back and forth with me a bit so I could ask about my cats. Upon meeting her, she was so friendly and never made me feel like I was an over-worried cat parent, even though I am! She was very respectful of my home and upon returning any dishes or containers used were washed and she took the extra time to use my sweeper on the floors and the litter box was clean and had fresh litter. More than anything though, my cats loved her! Even the one that never comes out from under the bed for anyone let Kelcie pet him a few times! And I have video to prove it! This was my first time using a sitting service and I just couldn't be happier with Kelcie and hope she continues to offer cat sitting for a long time to come! Five star all the way!

Repeat customer review! I cannot say enough great things about Kelcie’s cat sitting. I’m in grad school and initially tried to save money on cat sitting by having friends & neighbors check in on my cat, Piper, when I was away for extended periods of time. However, I would frequently come back to an overfed cat who was anxious & moody. I now rely on Kelcie, and her care is worth every penny!! From Kelcie’s daily videos and pictures, I can tell that Piper really loves Kelcie (which is AWESOME since Piper tends to hide around strangers). Kelcie also recently went the extra mile when my automated feeder unexpectedly died. I unfortunately didn’t have extra batteries and she volunteered to go pick some up and reprogram it. It’s kind of a weird device that has confused many a cat sitter before, so I was so relieved that Kelcie was there!! Thanks for everything!

Kelcie was such an amazing sitter! We felt so comfortable leaving our kitty with her, who is normally very shy but Kelcie read all her signs and our Iris warmed up to her so much! Cannot recommend Kelcie enough, she would send morning and evening updates with pictures and videos. It was extremely comforting to see how at ease our kitty was with Kelcie while we were gone. Kelcie spent a lot of time with our fur babies during the holidays and went out of her way to make sure they were comforted and cared for. She is super observant and was able to detect a food issue with one of our babies that was affecting her mood and energy levels. Kelcie kept in close contact with us (despite an 8 hour time difference!) and was able to help us resolve the issue and get our kitty back to herself before we came home. Kelcie is truly the "kitty whisperer" and we appreciate her excellent care.

Kelcie went to care for my 2 cats at the timeframe I specified (one cat thinks it's been abandoned if caregiver comes later). Followed instructions for where to place food (one cat has been a feral for about 10 years and is always fed outside). Both cats were comfortable with her, and were not at all nervous from my being away.

This was my first time using a professional cat sitter service. I usually call in favors with friends but didn't want to do that anymore. i was a little apprehensive on the whole because I was traveling, stranger in my house, stranger with my cat. Kelcie IMMEDIATELY put any concerns to rest. She was truly amazing with my cat. Who is skittish and always nervous. Kelcie coaxed her out of hiding, fed her, played with her and sent me these darling videos while I was traveling that made my day. Honestly, having Kelcie relieved so much stress. I could rest easy knowing my cat was under her care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Kelcie is an amazing, attentive, conscientious cat and house sitter. She had a huge assignment to stay in our house for a few weeks and handled it all with dedication, commitment and meaningful care. Here is the most remarkable factor, our cats are calmer and more friendly after her care and playtime. She sent daily photos and videos. All in, we never worried and in fact had zero guilt for leaving as they seem to have their own special getaway (from us) in Kelcie's care. Finally, she left our house in mint condition. Kelcie was amazing! I was anxious about leaving my kitties but both of my boys took to Kelcie immediately. Even my reserved, less-friendly cat adored her and rubbed and purred all over! kelcie was great! conner (our 12yo tuxedo cat) isn't the best when it comes to meeting strangers, but during the intro visit with kelcie, conner didn't do his usual thing and hide, which is great! kelcie further demonstrated the rapport she built over just a few days with conner; the videos she sent (daily) of them spending time together clearly showed how he'd warmed to her presence. we'll be using kelcie again the next time we're out of town!

Kelcie was FANTASTIC! She communicated with me and sent so many pictures and videos! One of our cats hasn't gotten to meet a lot of people yet and I was so worried he would be skittish and wouldn't show himself but he was playing with her and wanting so much attention. She made me feel a lot less anxious on my trip knowing she was there! 10/10 paws!

Kelcie was AMAZING. Kelcie was the first catsitter I have ever had who wasn't a significant other/roommate, AND her stay was during an unprecedented time, COVID. I was quite nervous about this factor, in addition to nervousness about leaving my two boys for 5-6 days. Nonetheless, from the moment I met Kelcie to the moment I arrived back home, Kelcie put my mind at ease. She would send me photos, videos, and updates on my kitties on a daily basis. If I had a question or texted her, she would reply promptly. Simon and Garfunkel were happy to see me when I got back, but I know they really enjoyed having Kelcie here. Kelcie truly is the cat whisperer. One of our cats does not like strangers, but he comes right out for her. Every time she visits, we get photo updates and cannot believe when we see he is so calm! Thank you, Kelcie, for giving us peace of mind when we're gone.

Kelcie was super amazing! She was very kind and respectful when we did our meet and greet, and when we were away we got about 20 videos and pictures a day (10 in the morning and 10 in the evening) and gave us updates about our cats moods. We are so happy we booked her!!

Wow. Kelcie was amazing. I’ve gone through a couple cat sitters and some even worse sitter nightmares and so I’m always a bit worried finding someone new. My cat is a bit high maintenance and prior to leaving, I can be too. Kelcie was easy going and sweet. She sent regular informative updates. She was super responsible and clean and I even came home wondering if she even stayed there she was so impeccably clean and left the way it was given to her. My cat wasn’t even that excited to see me so I know he was fully loved. She is highly recommended although I hesitate to do so because I’d like her all to myself!

From the photos and videos that Kelcie provided each day (which were great!), I could tell that my sassy little Tuxedo girl warmed to her fast and was fully engaged in play and affection. I recently returned from my first trip abroad since getting a cat. Kelcie sent me daily messages telling me how my cat was doing along with pictures/videos. When I returned after 10 days my home was how I left it and my lil buddy was healthy.

I am so glad my neighbor suggested Kelcie to me! I honestly don't even feel like my cats missed me. She is such a great caretaker! She gave them so much attention and I loved all the videos and photo updates I received. I am so happy I also found someone who I could trust to give my cats their medicine. Kelcie was amazing. She was so good that I think I was replaced by her on day 3 of her overnight stays with my very needy kitty. She sent great updates, pictures and videos. She was a perfect house guest and left my place spotless. It was such a relief to have someone so great taking care of my fur baby. Will definitely book again and I highly highly recommend her.
