I’ve been caring for cats my entire life, both as a devoted cat owner and as a go-to sitter for friends and family. With years of hands-on experience, I understand feline behavior, from playful kittens to senior cats with special needs. While I’ve been providing cat sitting informally for free over the years, I’m now offering my services professionally to ensure cats receive the best care while their owners are away. My lifelong love for cats, combined with my attentive and gentle approach, makes me a trustworthy and compassionate sitter.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love cat sitting because cats are my favorite animal, and I connect with them on a deep level. Each cat has their own unique personality, and I love earning their trust, whether through gentle companionship, playtime, or simply respecting their space. It’s rewarding to provide them comfort while their humans are away, ensuring they feel safe and loved. There’s nothing better than hearing a happy purr or seeing a once shy cat warm up to me. Caring for cats isn’t just a job it’s something I truly love and take pride in. The love of a cat is the most special type of love.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my most memorable experiences cat sitting was with my friend’s shy cat. While trying to coax her out of hiding, I noticed she seemed to be in pain. After some careful observation, I discovered that she was a polydactyl cat, and one of her extra claws had overgrown so much that it was embedded into her paw pad. I carefully trimmed the claw, and the next day, she was like a whole new cat! More playful and comfortable. It was such a rewarding moment to help her feel better, and it deepened my connection to her.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have 5 right now! Dexter, my baby, he’s a sphynx. Binx my sweetest boy, he’s all black. Loki my oldest, he’s my fluffy majestic silly boy and we just got 2 new Sphynx kittens Opie and Kirby🖤

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Look for a sitter who genuinely understands and respects cats’ unique personalities and boundaries. Good communication is key! Share your expectations clearly, and choose someone who makes you feel confident and comfortable leaving your cat in their care!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

First, I like to learn about your cat’s routine, personality, and any special needs. I’ll review all care instructions and make sure I understand your expectations. I keep in touch with daily updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away🖤

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always follow the cat parent’s instructions carefully and double check that doors, windows, and potential hazards are secure. I keep a close eye on the cat’s behavior and health, and I treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I’m often available during holidays and understand how important it is to have reliable care during those times. I recommend booking early since holiday spots tend to fill up quickly!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Wand toys with feathers and laser pointers! Most cats can’t resist them, and it’s a great way to bond and get them moving!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give timid or anxious cats plenty of space and let them come to me on their terms. I move slowly, speak softly, and use treats or toys if they’re open to it. Building trust is my priority, even if it takes time.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
