What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I really enjoy getting to meet and connect with different kitties and getting to know their unique (and often hilarious) personalities.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I think energy is important - finding someone who feels resonant to you, who you get a good vibe from, who is responsible and has experience with cats and the nuances that involve caring for them and getting to know them.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

As someone who’s had rescues, I understand the delicacy of caring for anxious kitties. I am especially mindful not to make sudden movements or loud sounds even after they’ve become more comfortable with me. And in the beginning, a lot of patience is required to allow them to open up and begin to trust. I find always speaking in a low, calming tone and slow blinks help them to feel safe.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
