I love how kitties have the uncanny way of slyly making their way into my heart. I have been sitting for cats for over 3 decades an... I am a kitty lover & recently was found by my own feline friend who adopted me after he was rescued from the highway. Life hasn't been the same since!
I love how kitties have the uncanny way of slyly making their way into my heart. I have been sitting for cats for over 3 decades and care for them as you do. They are part of my soul family. I am comfortable with giving medication including shots as well as pills if needed. Mostly I'll be giving your kitty lots of love and attention & treats if you're okay with that. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've been cat sitting & a cat mom for over 3 decades. Cat sitting has allowed me to have pets in my life during times when I was not allowed to have them in my home due to rental restrictions. I am so happy to.get to care for them.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy how every cat I've met has a very unique personality. They seem like 4 legged humans in their complexity but with much bigger hearts.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I was finally able to adopt a cat this past year. I've lived in rentals and until recently all were pet unfriendly so to speak. Enzo rescued me after having been left on the highway to fend for himself. He is now a permanent fixture & his personality takes up the whole house. We love him!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am typically available & happy to cat sit during holidays. I know how difficult a choice it can be to leave & i want to help
What is your favorite cat toy?
Boxes! Kitties love to play in and on boxes. It is so simple yet so entertaining & enriching for them.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to allow timid kitties to come to me on their own. I find playing a movie or show with a lot of dialog helps peak their curiosity. In my experience they hear the voices and think that they're hearing people gathering in their home. Thid works for me every time. I use it often as many Maui cats are from shelters, or rescued from the streets & need xtra time & attention to warm up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Lahaina cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
