I have taken care of cats for over twenty years since my first orange tabby adopted me in grad school. Max decided I would make a good human attendant and persisted until I took... I love cats. I have 3 cat overlords of my own. They are my babies and have me right where they want me, which is under their paws. I will treat your precious cats as if they are my cats. I believe all cats deserve all the love people can give.
I have taken care of cats for over twenty years since my first orange tabby adopted me in grad school. Max decided I would make a good human attendant and persisted until I took him in (i.e., moved to a pet friendly home) and saved him from the mean streets.
I will do daily cat chores such as food (wet and dry), water, and scooping. I can give oral medication. I don’t do injections. I can play and give them all the loves. If you need me to water plants and bring in the garbage, I am more than happy to do that. I will send you notes and pictures daily so you know your baby is being cared for.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to do a free meet and greet first. The introduction let’s both the pet parent and myself get an idea of whether we’ll be a good fit. Typically, pet parents will give me instructions on caring for their babies and the key. I can meet the cats while their human is there. It lets me get an assessment of the cat’s personality. Also, I can map out how to get to the home prior to the start of the cat-sitting job.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. I am generally available for all major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The only time I might be gone is if I am attending graduation.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have two timid cats so I understand that the cat’s comfort is paramount. I do not search for them because I know that will make them more nervous. I need to minimize their stress as much as possible. I follow instructions to the letter. Typically, previous owners asked me to do certain things such as say hi. It let’s the cat know I’m there and general location. My approach is very gentle and respectful.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
