I graduated from Elmhurst University in 2023 with a degree in general music and plan on continuing my education to get a... Hi! My name is Gabby Juskey and would love to help take care of your fluffy friends. I grew up with cats my whole life and absolutely adore them! At the moment, I have four girls at my parents house named Pandora, Lilith, Harpurr, and Rhea. They all have such unique personalities that always makes me and my family laugh and smile. After moving out a few years ago, my boyfriend and I were thinking about getting an animal as well. Because of unfortunate circumstances, we just recently took in a friends 1 year old tabby named Salem. Even though she’s still young, she is such a lover and is a very good girl. She loves her food and surprisingly likes getting in the shower with you? There’s never a dull moment with her around.
I graduated from Elmhurst University in 2023 with a degree in general music and plan on continuing my education to get a masters in music education! At the moment, I am also teaching voice, piano, drums, guitar, ukulele, and a few group classes at Bach to Rock music school in Arlington Heights. I have a fairly flexible schedule and am very easy going. Though I eventually want to find a full time music teaching job, taking care of feline friends would be like a dream to me.
With having cats for as long as I can remember, I have learned how to take care of them and understand their needs. Some of my previous cats have had some health issues (kidney disease, IBS, anxiety, gum/teeth issues) and have learned how to provide for them. I have learned how to give cats fluids and medication to help with these types of ailments. Seeing and caring for fur babies always brings me happiness and stress relief.
Not only am I a musician, but I love to craft. Crocheting is my main hobby that I picked up years ago, but I enjoy knitting and tie dying as well. Because of this, I love making kitty toys! Also, when I am crocheting, I make sure the cats are safe around the yarn, while still letting them have some fun.

Gabrielle was fantastic in caring for our cats while we were out of town. I have a 10 year old with kidney failure who needs subcutaneous fluids and a daily pill, and Gabrielle handled this tremendously well. There was an issue with Gabrielle getting in to our home and she handled this quite well with her communication and quick action and was ultimately able to resolve the issue no problem. When we got home, our pets were in great condition and had clearly been well cared for. We really appreciate Gabrielle and Meowtel and would be thrilled to work with her again. She was wonderful!

Gabby was amazing! This was the first time I had to leave my little guys with a sitter instead of friends and she was incredible! Great photos and updates! They clearly were super comfortable with her and my shier guy even sat in her lap! Loved the photos of them running around the apartment with their favorite wand toy! They were happy and healthy when I got back and clearly got lots of love and head pets while I was away! Will absolutely ask Gabby to help out again!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Addison cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Gabrielle is great. This was by far the longest I have been away from my fur daughter after we both had a very difficult past few years with relocating a million times whether we wanted to or not. But Emory clearly loved seeing Gabrielle and I have a few awesome pictures saved now. She provided updates immediately and let me know about Emory’s little skin condition (which I obsess over and is a bit of a mystery to her vets). Cat people know cat people. Very anxiety relieving. Can’t thank her enough.
