They call me Auntie Christine :) Ever since I started housesitting in 2016, I enjoy it more each year. I love all animals and of course dogs too but call myself a cat person bc cats reached a part of my heart I never knew existed! After catsitting for almost 10 years, I am now auntie to more than a dozen cats and a content cat lady. They say I’m a cat whisperer: I love slow blinks, afternoon naps, toebeans and speak cat. Over the years, I've cared for various cat breeds, ages and personalities, including a pair of calico queens in Bucktown (with me their mere servant); a tuxedo brother-duo in Lakeview who were little rascals that let me know when it's playtime (also the smartest boys who could open cabinets); and a 4yo shy baby whom I turned into a lap kitty (to the surprise and delight of her pawrents). Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
