Matt is truly an amazing cat sitter! He took the time to come meet Moncha before the appointment, which immediately gave us peace of mind. One thing that really stood out was how he gently introduced himself—he let Moncha smell his hand first before petting her. That’s when we knew he really understands cats. 😻 He was very thoughtful about her routine and explained how important consistency is for cats, which we really appreciated. During his visits, he sent us photos along with little updates and stories about how everything went. It made such a difference. Knowing that our cat is being so well cared for allows us to actually relax and enjoy our time away. We’re so grateful to have found Matt and would absolutely recommend him!

I have two elderly cats with different temperaments and requirements (including twice-daily insulin injections) and he was incredibly attentive, patient and reliable. He really takes the time to get to know individual cats and what they need, and he provided just the right amount of information and photos promptly after each visit. I can’t say enough good things about Matt. He was incredible—extremely communicative, thoughtful, and clearly experienced with animals. Both of our cats loved him instantly, and that’s saying something—our female cat usually gets so stressed when we’re away that she ends up with blood in her urine. This was the first time that didn’t happen, which speaks volumes about how calm and well cared for she felt in Matt’s presence. He sent detailed, reassuring updates every day, which helped us relax and enjoy our time away. It’s such a relief to know our pets were not only safe, but genuinely happy while we were gone. Matt was phenomenal in his care for our 3 cats. we could not have been happier with our experience. the website was easy and intuitive to navigate. the onsite previsit to discuss our cats routine and exchange keys was professional and reassuring. Matt was above and beyond taking care of our shy cat - from making sure she received her medication, giving her loving social time eith cuddles, ensuring she ate and regained weight, and cleaned up litter around the litter box too!! his write ups and photos were blog post worthy. we could not be happier we went with Meowtel and Matt.

Matt took excellent care of my "pride" of five cats, including one that needs meds twice per day. He coaxed the shy ones, played with the bold ones, and sent photos of every cat twice a day (!) along with detailed reports. He came by the day before our reservation to meet Henry and learn his specifics and started to establish trust with him, which was really something to see as Henry is quite particular about who he likes. Matthew sent us pictures from each of his visits along with texts of how everything was going. It was a great comfort to know our boy was in such capable hands. We will definitely be reaching out to Matthew the next time we head out of town.

Matt is an exceptional kitty sitter -- he has earned our shy girl Sam's trust and affection. Normally, she runs away from people and hides. But, Matt carefully won her over, and now she likes to sit with him to get a lot of pets and cuddles. Matt also does a great job with the food/litter situation and even brought in our mail and was willing to water the outdoor flower pots while we were away.
