My experience doesn’t stop with my own cats. I also help care for the cats of family and friends, so I’ve gotten to know a variety of temperaments. From shy cats who prefer quiet companionship to playful cats who love constant interaction... Hi, I’m Anna! I’m a proud cat mom to three wonderful cats. Two older, more reserved seniors (ages 12 and 15) and a kitten I found in my front yard. Living with such a wide range of ages and personalities has taught me patience, empathy, and how to give each cat the care that makes them feel safe and loved.
My experience doesn’t stop with my own cats. I also help care for the cats of family and friends, so I’ve gotten to know a variety of temperaments. From shy cats who prefer quiet companionship to playful cats who love constant interaction. I truly enjoy taking the time to learn each cat’s quirks and what makes them happiest.
When I visit, I make sure your cat’s needs are fully met. Feeding, fresh litter, and comfort, but I also go beyond the basics. Whether that means playtime, gentle affection, or just being a calm presence, I adapt to what your cat enjoys most. I’m also happy to share updates and photos so you always feel connected while you’re away.
At the heart of my care is patience and attentiveness. Every cat has their own story, and I take pride in earning their trust and making sure they feel cared for and understood.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for several years now for family and friends. I’m looking forward to meeting more cats around me.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 3 kitties myself. My youngest is 8 month old kitten, Kai. My 12 year old is Khaleesi who we adopted a few years ago and my oldest is Kitty who is 15.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to text and talk on the phone and learn about their routine and anything I need to pay attention to. I also like to have cat parents write up a reference sheet so I can make sure I am doing everything they are expecting.

I feel very lucky to have found Meowtel. The site was fairly easy to navigate. And then I was even more lucky to find Anna! We had a very nice meet & greet and I felt that my cats would be very safe with her. Anna came exactly when she said she would; fed, watered, and cleaned the cats perfectly; sent messages and short videos. She even got one of our shy babies to play! Anna is lovely to work with. We hired Anna for daily 45-minute while we were on holiday, and she was excellent. She communicated reliably, letting us know when she arrived and left each day, and shared photos and updates so we always felt connected to the cats. She handled feeding and litter box cleaning, and still made time to sit with them and give them attention. We'd happily book her again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Streamwood cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Anna has a very calming presence and is a very attentive and kind person. She loves animals and my animals love her!
