I have three kitties of my own named Loki, Arya, and Dorian. I've been a cat owner for seven years and have experience with a multitude of situations. I've also looked after cats for friends and family for the last 5 years.

When I found Dorian he was emaciated and about a quarter of the size he should have been. He is now a big, thriving, 15 pound cat, so I am comfortable with rescues that may be recovering.
My brother's cat Navi had chronic vomiting due to a food reaction so clean up is no problem for me. His other kitty Byrn was born with a GI infection so messy bathroom times will also not turn me away.
I am also comfortable giving kitties any medicine they may need. Loki has had a few ear infections in his lifetime which required drops and on one occasion an oral syringe. I can also do pills and eye drops.
I love cats and always respect their boundaries whether they are super shy or very affectionate. I can't wait to take care of your babies!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Loki, Arya, and Dorian are my three kitties. Loki is 7, and Arya and Dorian are both 5. I got Loki from an accidental litter, and Arya and Dorian were strays.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite toy to use with my own cats is an electric spinner with a bug attached to the end. My babies love it. When it comes to other's cats a wand or laser pointer are fun activities.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I work with timid cats on their own time. They come to me. They make the rules. When my cat Dorian came home he hid from me for weeks, so well in fact I thought he had gotten out. When he started to come out around me I was patient. I would sit and hold my hand out for him to sniff if he wanted. I sat still. I never chased after him. Eventually one day he hoped in my lap. He's still nervous around new people though, so same rules apply to them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
