First of all, I wanted to give Alison a 5-star rating, but for some unknown reason, the Meowtel phone app would only let me do 4-star. I will attempt to change it again, but if it stays at 4, please know that it should be 5!! I don’t often need help with care for my kitties, but when such an occasion arose two years ago it was a vast relief and blessing to find Meowtel. And specifically, to find Alison. So when I recently had to be away from home again, I naturally opened my Meowtel app… and was thrilled to see that Alison was still available! She actually does more than the minimum required for feline care… that is, she puts herself into it, and really cares for and about her charges. Apart from basic necessities of food and water, my highest concern is that my babies don’t feel abandoned. Alison spends time getting to know them and make them feel comfortable in her presence. She also makes videos to send to me daily, and a list of tasks accomplished. I have been very impressed with her professionalism, as well as her care skills. She even sends a daily last video to show my garage door closed! I’m always more than satisfied with all that she does. I unreservedly recommend Alison, and plan to request her help in any future kitty care need (fingers crossed that she will be available). Thank you, Alison!! 😻❤️😻

I always have a better and more relaxed vacation when Alison is looking in on my two kitties because I know they are in such good hands. One takes a medication, and Alison is great with her and makes sure she has what she needs. So thankful for Alison!!

Alison is truly a cat whisperer! I have two high-maintenance Sphynx cats who are incredibly particular and tend to stress out when I travel, but Alison has been absolutely amazing with them. She has a natural ability to understand their unique personalities and needs, and she creates an environment where they feel calm, comfortable, and cared for—even in my absence. She goes above and beyond by providing detailed updates and adorable photos, which always put my mind at ease. It’s clear Alison truly loves what she does and treats my cats as if they were her own. Given how sensitive Sphynx cats can be, I’m so grateful to have found someone who handles their quirks with patience and expertise. This is our 3rd time using Alison to watch our kitties. She's a pro - in every visit she sent a ton of pictures and videos of our 3 cats while we were on vacation. It's very comforting to know she's looking after the cats.

My big boy has never been socialized to be friendly with most people he doesn’t know, as we don’t have a lot of guests. He usually prefers to hide until it’s “safe” to come out of hiding. I explained all this to Alison during our initial meet and greet visit. True to form, Tikis chose to hide, but I showed her where he likely was. While we were gone, I had left some of his favorite treat (mashed up shrimp) for Alison to use as she saw fit… and she really made good use of it. She sent daily summaries with photos and videos. Tikis actually overcame his timidity a couple of times and showed affection!! I attribute that to Alison’s excellent skills as a cat sitter, who obviously loves kitties and is very patient with them. I will definitely request Alison again the next time I need someone to care for my sweet boy, and just hope that she is available! Thank you, Alison!! 😻

Alison was fantastic! She took care of my three kitties during a 10 day vacation and provided great updates - texts were very detailed, she provided photos of pre and post litterbox cleaning, full water and food bowls, and cat photos of all three cats, even my two shy kitties. She was very responsive and even picked up our mail while we were gone! Highly recommend.

went on a long trip overseas and Alison was just the best. followed all instructions and clarified when things didn’t go as expected. her updates are fantastic. I always feel so comfortable with her taking care of our cats, makes going on vacation a breeze!

Front the start Allison was amazing! She is quick to communicate, and spent plenty of time getting to know me and my fur baby, Gaby, before I even left town. Allison sent me photos and videos of her time with Gaby, and she totally put my mind at ease while I was away. This was the first time I’ve left her for more than 24 hours, and I was kind of freaking out, but again...those fears were quickly eliminated after I met her and saw her updates. It’s obvious Allison truly loves our furry family members, and I won’t hesitate to hire her again! Trust me...she is an angel!!!

Alison did an amazing job taking care of my two very demanding and needy sphynx cats, who typically hate it when I travel. She brought a sense of calm into their environment and kept me updated when they showed signs of nervousness. Alison is amazing :) She's taken care of our cats, twice now on extended trips. Last summer for 4wks, and this summer for 3wks. We have a special needs cat (she blind) and Alison is amazing with her. Our other cat is shy, and immediately warms up to her as well. She sends excellent updates, and took the worry of our cats well being, completely away while we were gone. I almost feel like she takes better care of them than we do. :)

Allison is a spectacular cat nanny, as Eugene and I call her. She has a genuine love for him and it certainly appears to be mutual! Allison is punctual, communicative, and thoughtful. Her pics and videos are precious. Her voice when she plays with him is soft and loving. I really can’t recommend her highly enough. She will be our regular going forward!

Alison has quickly created a nice rapport with my two shy kitties who don't love for me to be away.
