What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

As someone who has had a lifelong reputation of "loving cats," I have cat-sat for family friends/neighbors/relatives on and off for decades. Although I will admit that I have never had to cat-sit for any kitties that are more special needs (for example, diabetic or asthmatic), two cats I was a cat-parent to (who reached the ages of 17 and 21, respectively) struggled with health issues in their old age, and so I am no stranger to special dietary needs, applying ointments/ear drops, or administering pills to a cat.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The thing I enjoy the most about cat sitting is the opportunity to experience the quirks and unique personality of each cat. Although cats share many similarities across-the-board, the fun thing I've learned is that every cat is their own individual. There is such a variety of shapes, sizes, likes, dislikes, and routines that every cat has - I love learning about them all!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two cats at the moment - a black cat who was born with a nub for a tail (named Roger), and a orange-and-white cat named Toby (he has a long, orange tail with dark-orange stripes on it). I have had these kitties for over two years, and they will both turn three years old near the end of this March/early April (according to their adoption records, anyway!).

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
