My name is Saige, and I am a seasoned, traveling cat sitter serving Franklin, Douglas, and Johnson counties, as well as surrounding areas. I specialize in providing care for medically complex cats.
As the owner of five medically complex cats myself, I understand how stressful it can be to leave them while you are out of town. My goal is to provide peace of mind to owners in this unique position by ensuring their cats receive the specialized attention and care they need.
I have extensive experience administering medications for various feline conditions, including heart disease, anxiety, eye/ear issues, and lung conditions (such as asthma). I am also skilled in monitoring blood sugar, administering insulin, and providing inhaled medications.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for medically complex cats since 2015. I have been cat sitting in general since about 2010.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love being able to interact with cats of all shapes and sizes. I have been a car person my whole life and my family calls me the cat magnet.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite long standing cat sitting reservation is for a cat who has congestive heart failure. I have been watching him since 2015 and I have loved watching him grow with me. I am now the only other person he will let be near him and it makes me feel so incredibly special to be one of his people.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 5 cats Solomon - 11 years old Sherman - 11 years old Chester - 11 years old Boka - 1 year old Soka - 1 year old
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am very flexible during holidays and I am absolutely happy to check in on your babies! Traveling is so much fun, especially during the holidays, but I know how important it is to make your your fur babies are safe and cared for too!
What is your favorite cat toy?
We are absolutely team feather toy! My cats have tons of toys that we indulge in and we are always buying more to see what they like as well!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
