I have a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from The University of Kansas and work full-time as a veterinary practice manager. When I'm not working, cat-sitting, or rescuing, I enjoy reading, concerts, travel, and spending time with my family.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I absolutely love meeting new cats and seeing their different personalities, whether they’re outgoing, shy, or spicy. Having fostered over 100 cats and kittens since 2017, I’ve learned that it’s their world and we’re just living in it!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I love all my clients, but I’m especially fond of the shy or scared ones that I’ve been able to develop relationships with because I gave them the time and space needed to earn their trust.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
We have a small cat army, most of whom are foster fails: Ace, Connor, Gizzy, Loki, Marceline, Rhonda, Rico, Stevie, and Weezy. Loki and Marceline have rear-leg paralysis, and Stevie and Weezy are both blind (no eyeballs)! We love our little herd of misfits and medical issues! ❤️
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
At the initial meet & greet, I ask a lot of questions and take notes on their typical daily routine. I do not allow cats to go outside while I’m caring for them, even if they normally do so with their owner. I also make sure there are no toxic plants or anything else in the environment that can cause harm. I clean litter boxes at each visit to make sure urine output is normal and there is no diarrhea. Working in veterinary medicine means I’m always on the lookout for any signs or symptoms of illness as my primary goal is to keep your cats happy and healthy while they’re in my care!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! However, please keep in mind that I only book one or two cat-sitting clients at a time. If you wish to book my services for a holiday, please reach out well in advance to secure your spot!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let them set the tone for our interaction. I’ll sit on the floor and allow them to come to me if and when they’re ready. For shy cats that hide during my visits, I don’t force interaction as long as I can get eyes on them. Even a hiss lets me know they’re okay! I’m a big fan of calming cat videos on YouTube and frequently put them on for my feline friends. And I always have Churu treats and calming cat spray in my bag, just to make sure I’m fully prepared for those extra spicy felines!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found her. This was our very first experience using a pet sitter, and we were leaving for 3 whole weeks, so naturally I was extremely nervous — especially because my cat Pumpkin is a very anxious cat. He’s scared of people, usually hides from strangers, and also has IBD, so his routine and care are very important. Before our trip, we did two meet & greets, and from the very beginning she was amazing. She approached Pumpkin slowly and patiently, never forcing interaction or pushing his boundaries. She answered every question I had professionally and thoughtfully, and took detailed notes about Pumpkin’s routine, habits, and needs. Honestly, she’s a cat whisperer. After the meet & greets, Pumpkin was already noticeably less scared of her. Within just a few days of our trip, he completely warmed up to her — and eventually they became best friends. Pumpkin is spoiled and constantly wants attention, and it was incredible watching their friendship grow through the cameras we had at home. The cat who normally runs away from people ended up waiting for her every single day and begging for pets and attention from her. She sent daily updates, photos, and videos that gave me so much reassurance while we were away. At one point Pumpkin was having a little difficulty eating, and she handled it calmly and professionally. We planned things together and she took care of everything so smoothly. You can tell she is extremely experienced and truly knows what she’s doing. Not only did she take amazing care of Pumpkin, but she also helped me emotionally through the entire 3 weeks. She understood how anxious I was leaving him for that long and constantly reassured me. That level of trust and peace of mind is priceless. She was reliable, professional, caring, attentive, and also took great care of the house. Three weeks is a very long time to leave your pet, and trust me when I say we truly had the best possible experience. From now on, she is absolutely our go-to pet sitter without hesitation. We trust her completely, and I cannot recommend her enough. Thanks again Tiffany!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Shawnee cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

Tiffany was absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She took exceptional care of my two cats while I was away, including one who can be very "spicy" and isn't always the easiest cat to win over. Despite that, Tiffany handled both of them with incredible patience, positivity, and compassion. What impressed me most was how far above and beyond she went for my cats. She didn't just meet their basic needs—she genuinely cared for them and made sure they were comfortable, happy, and well loved while I was gone. It's obvious that Tiffany truly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. Leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, but Tiffany gave me complete peace of mind.
