As a cat parent and sitter of many years, I have gaine... I love all animals but cats are my absolute favorite, and have been all my life. I am well versed in the many personalities and behaviors of our feline friends. Like cats, I thoroughly enjoy play time, nap time, snack time, cuddle time and alone time with them.
As a cat parent and sitter of many years, I have gained extensive experience with special needs kitties ranging from medicating with pills, insulin shots, intravenous fluids and post-op/wound care to coddling older or arthritic cats in getting from one place to another or assisting with pottying.
To take care of your little loved one in your absence would be my honor.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 5 cats ranging from 19 to 5 years old. Fuchsia I’ve had since I was a single girl living in my black and hot pink apartment. She’s very old and cranky but still always wants to be near me as long as I only pet her two times. Miles Davis is a cool black cat that is such a kind and gentle soul. I tell him he’s my boyfriend. He’s diabetic. Charlie is my very handsome very large and very shy tuxedo gentleman named partly after the Downton Abbey butler and partly Charlie Chaplin. Monkey is my third all-black cat. I call him my feral lap cat bc he loves to roam the neighborhood and acts like he doesn’t know me but loves to sleep on my lap when inside. Tadej is my sweet but killer ginger girl. She requires 3 bells on her collar.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, most holidays I can be available for your kitties. End of year holidays may require a bit more advance notice.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I handle timid or anxious cats with patience, speaking calmly and lickable treats. Few cats like changes from their routine or for their person to not be around, so understandably this would be even more difficult for a shy or nervous kitty.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
