What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Cat sitting is a wonderful opportunity to connect with animals and their people. I know how scary it is to leave your pet with someone else because I have had to do it! So if I can put a cat parents mind at ease so they can focus on whatever is taking them away from home, I’m happy to! I use Meowtel when I need a sitter because I trust that the sitters understand cats’ special needs as opposed to dogs. I’m so happy to be on their team!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My own cat is a long haired black cat, named Indominus Rex or Rex for short (my baby sister named him!). He is the epitome of dark academia vibes. Then I live with 3 other cats. Two baby boys named Ollie and Frankie who are sweet little rascals. And The only girl in the family Tilly who is outdoor/indoor kitty that loves her best life on her own terms. These 3 are gray cats varying from tabby to solid gray. My sister has two other cats, a tuxedo named Rory and an orange tabby Sugi. They, too, are well-loved cats in our family!

What is your favorite cat toy?

A laser pointer is one of the best toys because it takes little effort to get the cats really moving and exercising! I mix quick little movements and slow-moving strides to help the cats move around as much as possible. I love also when some cats get smart and realize I’m controlling it and try to look at the pointer itself!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
