In addition to cat care, I volunteered for a year with Feline Friends at PetSmart in Salem NH. I’ve also helped with feeding a small colony of TNR cats in Lowell. I have studied cat grooming through NCGI (National Cat Groomers Institute) and have done many nail trims and some mat removal. I worked for a veterinary clinic from 2014-2015 where I learned about properly administering medications and would be happy to discuss that if needed as well! I’m always looking to help in as many ways I can!

If your kitties are shy or even “spicy” that’s ok! I’m comfortable with all purr-sonalities!

In my spare time I enjoy activities like hiking, swimming, reading books, and socializing with family and friends!

I hope you will consider me to help with caring for your beloved cats!

Learn More About Jill

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

My experience with cat sitting began years ago around 2012 when I helped my neighbors with their cat, Buddy, whenever they would go to Maine for a vacation! They lived upstairs from us and I would go upstairs to care for him and even let him come downstairs to visit us in our home! I worked in different areas of pet care over the years, but I always found that doing cat sitting was my preferred choice!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The unique personality that each cat always has and how no two visits will ever go the exact same way!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I would have to say my favorite visit was the one with my client’s cat, Gigi. Gigi finally grew comfortable enough with me coming by to visit her and completely relaxed one day, allowing me to get pictures of her somewhere other than under the bed for a change!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! Their names are Annie and Frankie! We adopted Annie as a tiny little kitten in March 2018 and we adopted Frankie when he was 5 months old in March 2020.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I would say to make sure that they are incredibly reliable (read reviews!) and above all- a total cat person!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, I always like to schedule a complimentary meet and greet! We can go over anything to do with caring for your cat(s) and also anything like bringing in mail or packages!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Absolutely! I always make sure to double check that I locked up doors or garages! I also ensure if cats are escape artists that I keep a watchful eye on them near any doors as I enter or exit the home!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am available for all holidays! I will, however, be reducing my hours a little bit for Thanksgiving and Christmas in order to reserve some time for family!

What is your favorite cat toy?

I would have to say my favorite cat toy is the bumblebee toy that hooks to the end of the fishing rod! Even our stubborn girl Annie will usually go for that one!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

If I’m doing a cat sit for someone who has a timid or anxious kitty, I always move gently through the home and speak in a calm and reassuring voice.

Jill was an outstanding cat sitter, and we couldn't be happier with the care she provided for our two cats. She was professional, reliable and it was immediately clear how much she genuinely loves cats. Throughout our trip, Jill was prompt with every visit and kept us updated on how our cats were doing. She sent photos from each visit and provided detailed updates, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats requires medication, and Jill administered it with ease and confidence. Knowing our cat's medical needs were being handled so well allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our vacation. We highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy and professional cat sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again!

I felt very comfortable and confident leaving my cat in Jill's care! She was kind, responsive, thorough, and followed instructions perfectly. My cat's care is a little high maintenance (she's on several medications, is a picky eater, etc) but Jill had no problem handling it. I'm grateful to have found her!

Jill is truly the best! This was the second time she has cared for our kitties, and once again, she was absolutely wonderful. Her twice-daily communication after each visit gave us complete peace of mind, and her photos made it clear just how much our cats look forward to seeing her. In fact, I think they may have missed Jill when we came home! She is a true professional who genuinely loves and understands cats. We cannot recommend Jill highly enough and feel so fortunate to have found her!

Jill took great care of our kitties and kept us updated while we were away. She was incredibly consistent and our girls didn't hold it against us (much - they are cats) that we left them. Would highly recommend and hope to have her catsit for us again.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Andover cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
