Hi my name is Debbie, I'm in my 40s, and have been married for 25 years. We have a seven-year-old cat named Noodles, a kitten named Pinto Beans, and a six-year-old dog named Ferdinand, and they are our babies! I have had six amazing cats in my life, but I also have a lot of experience cat sitting for friends and family through the years. Additionally, I am a long-term volunteer (10 years and their Kitten Adoption Coordinator) at a local animal shelter and have done cat care, TNR, foster team work, fundraising, and over 1280 adoptions there, so I have worked with both a lot of cats and people. I am passionate about all animals, especially cats. I am detail-oriented, reliable, organized, conscientious, and very aware of the importance of following directions when it comes to cat sitting. I want what is best for the cat(s) and their people. I feel that feeding cats and cleaning their litter box(es) is just as important as playing with them - unless they don't want to play, of course! Sometimes just spending time near a cat is exactly what they crave for their own comfort and security. Over the years, I have learned a lot about reading cat body language and understand that every cat is different and has different needs, likes, desires, quirks, and dislikes. But this is what we all love about cats: their idiosyncrasies! My six cats were all very different from each other, which I was fascinated by. I love getting to know cats and learning about their individual preferences. Of course, nothing feels better than that moment when they trust you and show affection. It's magical. I had a semi-feral cat that took seven months to win over, but it was SO worth it! But I also know that it doesn't necessarily happen with all cats, and that is absolutely fine. It's important that the cat is comfortable in their home, not that I feel loved! For example, if a cat is showing signs of needing alone time, I quietly sit in the room with them so they know I'm there if they change their mind, but I don't force myself on them. Debbie is the most fabulous, thoughtful, caring, consistent, and communicative cat sitter a person could ask for. While we were out of town, Debbie came every day to take care the cats. Beyond food, water, and tending to the litter box, she made sure to spend quality time with both of them. One cat is outgoing, the other shy; she knew just the right way to approach each of them, and exhibited a deep knowledge of and intuition for felines from the first time we met her. (Debbie came for a meet-and-greet the same day we booked, as our trip was unexpected). Debbie is an incredibly dependable and reliable cat sitter. She is knowledgeable about the various personalities of cats as well. My male cat is painfully shy, and Debbie was respectful of his needing time to adjust to having someone new inside "his home". My male cat with some time has become comfortable and loving now with Debbie. I have no worries when I know Debbie is watching my two cats while I am away. Plus, I think my cats like the new company of Debbie as well.

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
