I have experience with kitties of all ages, and am experienced with administering certain types of medication (oral, topical, ear) and am constantly seeking to further my knowledge. I truly value reliability, and I will always be there for you and your babies. From multiple-a-day drop-in visits to multiple-night stays, I'd love to care for your baby while you're away. I absolutely love playing with and cuddling my cats at home, so I can guarantee your sweet kitty will get all the lovins while I’m with them! However, I know that not every cat loves close contact, so I am sure to honor any boundaries they express and respect their personal space. It is such a privilege to care for your kitties, and you can be confident I will treat them as such. I know it can be anxiety-inducing to leave your family members behind while you travel, so I am here to do everything in my power to help alleviate some of that worry and show up for your loved one while you are showing up for yours.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
It is extremely rewarding to watch cats open up and trust you as a friend over time! Just like with people, it takes time to build that relationship, and forming that bond is so fulfilling.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I grew up with 3 cats who now live with my parents while I live away from home. Their names are Suki, Ooli, and Honey. Honey passed away at a young age due to health complications, but she still has my whole heart. I love all of my cats dearly, they are all so different! I plan to foster when I eventually move to a living space that allows cats.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I almost never travel (I get airsick, seasick, carsick, you name it), and I am a student, so I am almost always available for holidays.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience!! A lot of cats can be scared and cautious of strangers, and I would be too if a stranger came into my cozy home without warning! Because of that, they can be anxious if they don’t know me well or when I first meet them, which is totally normal. Spending time with them and showing the you are safe is key, so that they can trust you. Watching, respecting, and honoring boundaries that they show with their body language and behavior is vital, and helps us build that unbreakable bond that carries over visit to visit.

It was clear that the kitties loved her, even the one who tends to be shy at first. Olivia was great for our little guy through the holiday weekend (full of firework explosions and house showings/intrusions) while we were away! Our cat is a shy guy and the fact that he came to greet her immediately on her second visit proved to us that she is a true cat whisperer. Highly recommend her!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Waltham cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Olivia is a great cat sitter ! She is super organized (made herself a spreadsheet and checklist of a complex med regimen at our meet and greet), extremely conscientious (texts me with things she notices about behavior or mood), a great communicator (replies quickly), really responsible and trustworthy. The kitties really love her and she set up an online photo album of them to share with me. She hangs out with them and they get lots of great care when she's visiting - and a million snuggles too! There is literally nothing else that she could do better ! She's the best.
